On above date and time I PFC Bray was dispatched to [2800 BLOCK] Reeceburg Road in reference to a domestic altercation call. While en-route dispatch advised complainant was calling back and stated her boyfriend dad was choking her boyfriend inside of red mustang at the end of the driveway. While in the area trying to locate the address dispatch advised the dad is now inside the house throwing things.

Upon my arrival the mustang was no longer at the end of the driveway, however I was meet at the end of the driveway by a male whom was later identified as [WITNESS #1] who stated his is inside the house now. Once I exited my patrol car I observed a younger male coming outside the residences and right behind him an older male who banged his hands on the screen door to open it. The younger male who was later identified as [VICTIM #1], approached me and stated he talking about the older male (Gregeroy Carter) had just threw a coffee table at him.

Gregeroy stated he just threw a whole got damn table at him. I asked Gregeroy why you do that for and he stated because he has the keys to his car. I tried to grab Gregeroy by his left wrist and told him to turn around for me, at this point Gregeroy was covered in sweat and I lost grip of his wrist and he tried to walk back into the residence while stating I am not doing that sir. I was able to get a hold of Gregeroy left wrist and apply handcuff to him but he continued to pull away from me.

Once I was able to get the his left arm in handcuffs he decided to sit down on some weak and broken steps. To avoid trying to fight with Gregeroy on the steps I was able to just cuff him in the front. I asked Gregeroy what was going on and he stated his son tried to come at him everyone tried to speak at once so I advised them I was asking him. Gregeroy stated he was already hungry cause he has not had anything to eat. I asked him so you decide to take it out on everyone else cause you are p*ssed off and he stated no its not like that.

Gergeroy asked [VICTIM #1] to bring him a beer and he told him I think you had enough and Gregeroy stated no he hasn’t. I advised Gregeroy I think he had enough beer too and he stated F*ck Y’all and than slided his left hand out of the handcuffs. I grabbed Gregeroy right arm and he stated he just wants his other beer. At this time PFC Vasser had arrived on scene and we advised Gregeroy to stand up so we could reapply the handcuffs in the back. Gregeroy cant trying to pull away stating he just want his cigarette. Gregeroy was escorted and carried by PFC Vasser to my patrol vehicle, where Gregeroy asked me what is he being arrested for and I advised him that he admitted to throwing a table at his son and he stated what did he admit to doing to me and said he is stealing my car.

I went back and spoke with [VICTIM #1] and asked who was Gregeroy choking in the car and he stated it was him. I asked him at any time did he loose consciousness and he stated no. I asked [VICTIM #1] what happen and he stated Gregeroy had been drinking all day starting around 1600 hours and [VICTIM #1] had to go and pick his girlfriend [WITNESS #2] up from work. [VICTIM #1] stated Gregeroy asked him to take him to go and get some food and he wanted some Chinese food. [VICTIM #1] stated he told him by the time they get back the Chinese Food place would be closed so he request to be taken to Waffle House.

[VICTIM #1] stated they went and got the food and had picked up [WITNESS #2] and everything was fine until they got onto Reeceburg Road. [VICTIM #1] stated Gregeroy had threw a cigarette out the window and had pulled on [WITNESS #2] seatbelt and she said ouch and he stated o I was just trying to get that angry out of you cause I know you have something to say and they just ignored him when he said that. [VICTIM #1] stated Gregeroy than gets into the front seat and kept turning the radio on and off. [VICTIM #1] stated he tried to get Gregeroy to sit back in his seat and when they got near their driveway Gregeroy had than climbed into the front seat and was trying to stomp on the brake.

[VICTIM #1] stated he than told [WITNESS #2] to get out of the vehicle at this time because Gregeroy was pushing down on his shoulders. [VICTIM #1] stated Gregeroy than throws the vehicle in park and takes the keys out the ignition and tries to crawl over him to get out the vehicle. [VICTIM #1] stated at this point Gregeroy had wrapped his arms around his neck and put him in a choke hold and they rolled onto the ground. [VICTIM #1] stated he was able to get out the choke hold and told Gregeroy he not about to be fighting over keys to the car.

[VICTIM #1] stated he was than able to drive the car into the driveway and had gave Gregeroy his food he left in the car and he said thank you and threw it at him. [VICTIM #1] stated once they get inside the house Gregeroy kept slamming his bedroom door and stuff and throwing stuff around and punching stuff throughout the house and threw a coffee table at him which hit hit in the head.

I went inside the residences and seen a bedroom door that was damage and along with stuff thrown all over the living-room floor. I also observed a coffee table with a broken leg turned over with the legs up to the ceiling. I also observed a kitchen chair damage that was laying down and not upright on its legs. I also observed an AC heater Control Panel on the wall that was damage with the cover being near the front door area.

Gregeroy was Transported to Floyd County Jail where he was checked and cleared by Jail Nurse. While speaking with the Victim Gregeroy had got his handcuffs back in front of him while in the backkseat.
