On the above date I arrived at [REDACTED] in response to a domestic. Before I arrived another officer found MOSS, HUNTER JEROME hidding from her under a truck. When I arrived I spoke to [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] is having problems with the home owner Hunter. She tells me that we have came out to the home earlier today and that Hunter was told by officers that he can not kick [WITNESS #1] or her children out of the home and that he needed to get an eviction if he wanted them out.

I confirmed the story over the radio with the officers that were out before. [WITNESS #1] continues, she called us again because Hunter had gathered her and her children’s things in the back of his truck and was trying to “move them.” The back of hunters truck was full of bags of groceries and kids toys. There was also a tarp like object thrown over the bed to hide it. I then went to speak to Hunter.

Hunter was very uneasy, he would not look at me was fidgety and smelled of alcoholic beverages. Hunter stated that he did wrong and made a mistake. He did admit to going into their rooms and removing their things. I brought both parties together and asked about a Leese agreement to witch Hunter stated that a “fake one” was in place.

I advised Hunter about criminal trespass and my limited knowledge of lease agreements. [WITNESS #1] was told to get her things from his truck, she stated that groceries are now ruined, and Hunter was told not to interact with them and to get an eviction before he gets himself in civil trouble.

Later that night I was dispatched to the same address for a fight. When I arrived all parties were separate and present. I spoke to Hunter. Hunter states that [WITNESS #1]’s daughter [VICTIM #1] assaulted him and pushed him down. Hunter stated that the girl “stormed into the back yard” were Hunter and his ex-wife [WITNESS #2] where, during the conversation I could still smell alcoholic beverages on Hunter and noticed him swaying back and forth. I stepped away from Hunter and a second and walked toward the road then returned and asked him to tell me again what happened and where.

Hunter states (this time) that himself and [WITNESS #2] were standing in front of the fence door in the back yard this is when the girl opens the gate tells Hunter to get out of the way then punches him in the chest. I say nothing about the story change. Hunter states that [WITNESS #2] was beside him and witnessed this happen.

Me and Hunter went back to the back yard and he pointed at where he was standing. It was right up against the fence gate, he could not tell me what him and [WITNESS #2] were doing. I asked Hunter to explain it again this time his account was mostly the same, [VICTIM #1] opens the door tells him to move then punched him. I asked about the punch he pointed to the middle of his chest and refused EMS. We continued talking and the punch in the chest changed to a push with both hands again. He did not mention going to the ground again.

I then went to speak with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] explains that she was going into the back yard to retrieve a mattress from a tent. [VICTIM #1] states that she opened the door [WITNESS #2] asked her what she wants, when [VICTIM #1] told her she stepped through she states this is when Hunter stepped in-front of her grabbed her by the arms and pushed her back. I then asked [VICTIM #1] to run through the story again with more detail and nothing changed. [VICTIM #1] did also show me her arms and she did have red marks on both of them at her biceps.

I then went to speak with [WITNESS #2]. I asked her to explain what happened she states that her and Hunter were walking in the back yard toward the gate when [VICTIM #1] opened it and “barreled through” hunter and knocked him to the ground. I asked her to explain it again after some small talk. This time she states that her and Hunter where walking up to the gate this time [WITNESS #2] states that she opened the gate this is when [VICTIM #1] comes through and “barreled through” Hunter.

Due to the red marks on [VICTIM #1] and the constant changing and conflicting stories from Hunter and [WITNESS #2], I placed Hunter under arrest for Simple Battery FVA and child abuse in the first checking for fit on handcuffs and double locking. Hunter was transported to jail without issue.

Handcuffs check for fit and double locked.
Backseat cleared before and after transport.
