On 5-20-26 I Pfc Jenkins responded to [300 BLOCK] Shorthorn Rd. in regards to a domestic altercation.
Upon my arrival I made contact with the victim identified as [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that her son JASON CARTER was at the residence and was arguing with her about his check book. [VICTIM #1] stated that the argument got very heated between them and [VICTIM #1]’s ex boyfriend [REDACTED]. [VICTIM #1] was very angry that someone had called about them being loud and stated several times that the neighbors are always loud at night. [VICTIM #1] further stated that she did not know why JASON had a conditional bond.
I asked dispatch to look up the conditional bond between [VICTIM #1] and JASON. I was advised that the conditional bond was in place and still valid.
A short time after we left the residence I received another call stating that JASON had returned. I arrived back at the address and found JASON walking down the driveway from [VICTIM #1]’s residence. I advised JASON to put his hands behind his back and I placed him in handcuffs. JASON stated that him and his mother did have an argument today but did not know that the bond was in place.
JASON was then transported to the Floyd county jail where he was medically cleared and booked in.
