[NARRATIVE #1 on July 13, 2026]
On July 13, 2026 at 11:10 I Pfc Carranza was dispatched to a meet in person call at the Sherwood Forrest Baptist Church at KINGSTON HWY NE/GOODMAN RD NE, ROME, GA 30161. Complainant advised dispatch there was a man that picked up two kids and put them inside his truck. Few minutes later the Man in the truck was calling dispatch saying he had placed the little boy and the little girl in his truck.
Dispatch advised this was not the first time this happened, and they have record of where the kids reside. Sherwood Baptist Church’s pastor had gone up that address and attempted to make contact with out any luck. I Later on gather by talking to various Officer this was the 5th time this had happened.
Mr. [WITNESS #1] voiced his outrage numerous times by expressing that time had passed and these Children’s parents were not aware that their children were absent. Both Hoke kids remained inside Mr. [WITNESS #1] Truck whit the A/Con. Captain Hunton came to the scene to advise us he had made contact with Mrs. Hoke, also bringing snack and diapers. Investigator Roubieu was at [REDACTED] when Defacs Social worker showed up. I was then advised by Inv Rouieu to come up to help transport Mrs. Hoke. I placed Mrs. Hoke in handcuffs put her in the back seat of my squad car and transported her to the Floyd County Jail where she was admitted with out any issues.

[NARRATIVE #2 on July 13, 2026]
On July 13, 2026 I Investigator Roubieu responded to [REDACTED] in reference to two juveniles being found wandering near Highway 293. PFC Carranza arrived and secured the children.
During the investigation probable cause was developed to place the mother Mrs. Kaitlin Hoke under arrest for 2 counts of cruelty to children and 2 counts of reckless conduct.
