On 7/16/2026, I (PFC Ballard) while on duty for the City of Rome Police Department, in uniform, in a marked patrol vehicle, responded to the area of [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Myrtle St, Rome, Ga 30161 at approximately 0047 hours in reference to a subject violating a temporary protective order. Prior to my arrival I was advised Kerry Maxwell had an active stalking 12 month protective order on her to stay 300 yards away from the victim’s, [VICTIM #1] residence at [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Myrtle St.
I rode the area and located Ms Maxwell standing right inside the fence of Myrtle Hill Cemetery right directly across the street from [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Myrtle St. Ms Maxwell was well inside the 300 yards distance that was stated in the order. I placed Ms Maxwell under arrest for aggravated stalking and transported her to the Floyd County Jail where she was booked in without incident. The rear of my patrol vehicle was searched prior to and after transport and no contraband was located.
A copy of the stalking 12 month protective order was placed in the case file.
