On Monday July 27, 2026 at approximately 16:36 hours I was dispatched to 440 Shorter Ave to meet with a complainant ([VICTIM #1]) in reference to a domestic dispute that had occurred at [30 BLOCK] Battey Dr. While en route I was advised that Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s boyfriend (Kirstin Gordon), who she lives and shares a child with, had poured bleach on her person and she had then fled her.

Upon my arrival Ms. [VICTIM #1] rolled down her driver side window and I immediately smelled the odor of bleach emanating from her person in conjunction with her damp appearance. I also she could not open her eye, and when I coaxed her to assess her injuries I observed they were inflamed. Ms. [VICTIM #1] had to keep them closed length of our interview until medical personnel arrived, effectively losing their use.

She advised that Mr. Gordon and her had been arguing, as she as trying to separate her items from his and proceeded to strike her in the face with ears of corn. Ms. [VICTIM #1] advised she then struck him with the corn in retaliation. She stated Mr. Gordon poured seasoning in her face. Ms. [VICTIM #1] advise she the told him something that he did not appreciate, with Mr. Gordon then proceeding to douse her in bleach. She advised that once Mr. Gordon had effectively blinded her, he pushed her onto the couch and proceeded to place his hands on her neck and begin to choke her. She stated Mr. Gordon also struck her several times along with pulling her hair.

I observed several defensive injuries on Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s body including multiple bloody half moon, finger nail, marks on her hands, scratches on her arms and shoulders, along with her left ear being inflamed as if she was struck their several times, and large red marks and bloodied scratches on her neck as if it had been grabbed and squeezed.

I then spoke to Mr. Gordon at [10 BLOCK] Greer Dr. He advised that Ms. [VICTIM #1] had attacked him. I did observe the odor of bleach coming from his person, but it was not as strong as Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s odor had been. Mr. Gordon advised that Ms. [VICTIM #1] threatened to break multiple items striking him with the corn, but Ms. [VICTIM #1] had proceeded to throw something. Mr. Gordon advised he did reach for Ms. [VICTIM #1] to disarm her, stating he did not strike her.

I placed Mr. Gordon under arrest. He was transported to and booked at the Floyd County Detention Center.
