On the above date and time Cpl Bleecker, Officer McCormick, and I, Officer Walker were dispatched to [2400 BLOCK] Maple Rd. Dispatched advised us that the complainant, [VICTIM #1], texted 911 stating she has a TPO on her brother, Marlon Cook, and he was at the residence and was not supposed to be there. She stated he was at her house trying to make contact with their mother who also lives at the residence.
Officer McCormick arrived before us and had Marlon detained as we arrived on scene. He advised that Marlon admitted that he knew he was not supposed to be there and was aware of the TPO. We then assisted and put Marlon in the patrol car. I then went and spoke with [VICTIM #1] and she told me that she got the TPO on 06/03/26, and Marlon was aware of the stipulations that came with it. [VICTIM #1] also stated that since they do share the same mother and their mother does want to see him, Marlon knows that he is only supposed to come to the residence in the evening when [VICTIM #1] is not there.
[VICTIM #1] stated that he drove a blue ford fusion to the residence that was parked in the driveway, and she also added that his license might be suspended. Cpl Bleecker had dispatch run his name, and on Marlons returns his licenses was revoked and expired since 07/29/1996.
Cpl Bleecker read Marlon his Miranda Rights and asked him how he had gotten to the residence in the first place and Marlon admitted that he drove the car. Marlon at this point was very upset and was combative in the back seat of Officer McCormicks car.
Officer McCormick transported Marlon to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office. We followed to assist.
