[NARRATIVE #1 on August 30, 2026]

On August 30th, 2026 at approximately 0800 AM, I , OFC T. Zenga#57, was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Piedmont Ave in reference to the vehicle that was recovered during a vehicle pursuit hours earlier.

Upon my arrival, I spoke with [VICTIM #1], who advised me she is the current owner of the vehicle. She stated her step-mom, [VICTIM #2], had given her that vehicle, but has yet to change ownership due to insurance. Regardless, she had [VICTIM #2] on the phone and advised me when she woke up this morning around 6:00-6:30AM to feed her cats, she realized that her vehicle was no longer there and immediately dialed 911. Due to [VICTIM #2] not speaking English, [VICTIM #1] spoke the entire time translating for [VICTIM #2]. [VICTIM #2] stated that she bought the vehicle for ($8,000.00) and wishes to report it stolen at this time.

[NARRATIVE #2 on August 30, 2026]

On Sunday [8/30/2026] I, Ofc Chaves went to assist Lt. Burnes Shorter Ave/Coker Dr in reference to a traffic stop involving a reckless driver who had just struck an object and bailed on foot. Lt Burnes described the driver as a Hispanic male wearing dark clothing.

Upon arriving in the area I was advised to check Blankenship Pl. Myself, PFC Roden, and Sgt. Rast were canvassing the area when two hispanic males appeared from the back of apartments, were out of breath and one hispanic male was wearing dark clothing as well.

Myself and PFC Roden gave out verbal commands and due to the subjects possibly being armed PFC Roden had is department issued firearm pointed toward them. The male wearing black had his hands up and had cooperated with my verbal commands, I then placed his hands behind his back and he stated he had a firearm in his pocket, I then maintained his arms and hands while Sgt Rast removed the firearm, cleared it, and ran the serial number through dispatch.

The male was identified as Christopher Paxtor-Perez and he was searched incident to arrest and placed in the backseat of my vehicle.

I then transported Mr. Perez to Atrium Floyd hospital for medical clearance, he was then transported to the jail where he was booked accordingly.

On 8-30-26 at approximately 0733 hours I, Officer Tanner responded to 1491 Turner McCall Blvd (Circle K) to obtain surveillance footage.

Upon my arrival I spoke with Ms. [REDACTED] who is the on site manager and she was able to access the cameras for the store and allow me to view related material to the incident. I observed a white vehicle pull into the lot near a gas pump along with another similar vehicle in size and color pull in beside them at 0330 hours. Three unidentified Hispanic males exited the white vehicle along with several other unidentified males exiting the other vehicle that parked beside them and they all entered the store.

Them exiting their vehicle along with entering the store and returning to their vehicles was all footage that was obtained and submitted to Evidence.Com

[NARRATIVE #4 on August 30, 2026]

On 08/30/2026 at 04:09 I (Lt Burnes) was on Coosawattee Dr at the intersection of Shorter Ave. I was facing north, toward Shorter Ave. I observed a small white sports car traveling west on Shorter Ave. As the vehicle entered into the intersection I estimated it’s speed to be over 100 mph. I was able to come to this conclusion due to my training, and years of experience as a speed detection operator and a driving instructor.

I immediately activated my emergency equipment and began to attempt to close distance with the vehicle. I lost sight of it briefly when I got around Brown Fox Dr due to the topography of the roadway. As I approached Coker Dr I could see the vehicle coming to a stop on Coker. The lights were off and a subject wearing all black with puffy hair was running west through the lot of the hair salon.

As I approached I could see there was damage on the front of the vehicle and the airbags had deployed. Two young hispanic males were exiting the vehicle. I was able to detain them and place them in handcuffs as assisting units arrived further west to look for the driver. As I was getting ready to place them in my backseat I observed an extended pistol magazine protruding out of the waistband of Mr. Maynor Lopez. I retrieved a Glock Handgun from his pants line. As I was doing that he advised me there was another one.

The second male began to get squirmy and I was attempted to keep him under control and maintain control of the weapon at the same time, as it was not feasible for me to release one or the other. He also advised me that he had another weapon. I then removed another Glock from his waistband and secured them. Ofr Valentine assisted me with placing the males in the patrol cars. I then went and assisted the other officers in the search for the driver. He was eventually located on Blankenship Pl and taken into custody. See supplementals for additional information.

Later we were advised that the vehicle was stolen, and additional charges were tendered on Paxtor. Warrants will be obtained for the other two passengers as soon as possible.

The vehicle was removed by Sunrise (Owners Request).

[NARRATIVE #5 on August 30, 2026]

On August 30, 2026, Lt. Burnes advised over the radio that a vehicle was traveling westbound on Shorter Avenue at speeds exceeding 100 mph. I activated my emergency lights and siren and responded to his location.

Upon my arrival, the vehicle had been involved in a motor vehicle collision, and the driver had fled the scene on foot. I, along with other officers, began searching the surrounding area for the driver.

While Officer Chaves and I were searching the area, two males approached us from behind. Officer Chaves began giving verbal commands to one of the males and was able to take him into custody. My attention then shifted to the second male, later identified as [WITNESS #1].

I observed Mr. [WITNESS #1] with his left hand inside his jacket pocket, which caused me concern that he could be armed. I drew my department-issued firearm and pointed it in his direction while giving him verbal commands to show me his hands and get on the ground. Mr. [WITNESS #1] complied with my commands.

I then placed Mr. [WITNESS #1] in handcuffs and escorted him to the area of the patrol vehicles. During the investigation, it was determined that Mr. [WITNESS #1] had not been an occupant of the vehicle involved in the collision and had not committed any criminal offense. Mr. [WITNESS #1] was subsequently released from detention.
