On Saturday, September 26, 2026 I was dispatched to 840 Turner McCall Blvd (Days Inn) in reference to a suspicious person call.

Upon my arrival I could hear a female yelling from her room as a walked down the adjoining hallway. At that time Lt Burnes and I made contact with PFC Roden and Officer Valentine at room [REDACTED]. Officer Valentine was speaking with Mr [REDACTED] in the hallway. I entered the room and observed PFC Roden attempting to speak with a female, later identified as Ms Meralys Vicente-Juarez, in the bathroom.

Meralys was screaming and aggressively pulling on the edge of the toilet causing it to rock. PFC Roden then helped Meralys to her feet and escorted her into the room. Officers then helped her take a seat on the edge of bed. I observed that Meralys was extremely intoxicated at that time. She was unable to remain standing without assistance, had slurred speech, and emitted the smell of an alcoholic beverage.

I attempted to ask her what had happened that evening. Meralys repeatedly made statements about how she loved her boyfriend and wanted to be with him. She also advised that she hated him. She was unable to inform officers of what incident had occurred to upset her. At that time she attempted to stand up and walk to the hallway.

Officers gave her repeated lawful orders to stop and sit down. Meralys ignored all lawful orders and began yelling again. At that time she was placed under arrest and escorted outside. I searched her for contraband, none was found. She was then placed into the rear of squad car 196 and transported to the Floyd County Jail. Meralys was booked on the city ordinance violation of disorderly conduct.
