[NARRATIVE #1 on March 17, 2025]
On the above date and time I, Sgt Tetsworth, assisted Rome City PD in a pursuing a vehicle that had fled from them. I activated my lights and sirens exiting the police station and caught up to the chase on Hwy 411 at Callier Springs Rd.
I observed the vehicle, a blue 2016 Ford explorer, heading in bound on 411 past Tractor supply. The driver, later identified as one Tyrease Creamer, then turned onto Dodd Blvd. The suspect reached speeds of 105 mph. He then turned into the apartment complex of Callier Forest. We looped around and then exited back out of the complex. He turned right onto Dodd Blvd and int the parking lot of the golf course on Callier Springs Rd. Tyrease turned around in his vehicle back toward all of the officers and vehicle that had blocked him in. He exited his vehicle and I began to pursue. Tyrease immediately got back in his vehicle and fled again onto the roadway in his vehicle striking Ofc Rickett’s vehicle as he fled. He drove up Callier Springs Rd back up to Hwy 411. Once on Hwy 411 he drove down to and turned onto GA 1 Loop toward Hwy 293. He stopped at the intersection at Hwy 293 and The Loop. I exited my vehicle, pointed my department issued pistol at Tyrease and order him out of the vehicle.
Tyrease refused to exit the vehicle and drove away. I reentered my vehicle and pursued him back down The Loop toward Hwy 411. One we reached Hwy 411 he turned back westbound (inbound) toward Rome. He turned onto the exit onto Dean Ave. We drove into the city turning onto E 19th and then onto Maple St. We pursued him down E14th to Crane St, left on Cedar Ave, turning onto Hemlock St, right on Evergreen, left on Wheeler, right on 20th, crossed Maple St where Tyrease ran a red light. We turned left onto Flannery St, left on 14th, left on Maple St, left on 15th, right back onto Flannery St, right on 16th, left onto Crane St, right on 18th, left on Hull Ave, left onto Wheeler again, right on 20th, back onto Maple St, and right on 19th. We got back onto Dean and then got on Sunset toward Dodd Blvd. Once on Ddd Blvd we made our way back to the Callier Forest apartments. One officers vehicle blocked the front entrance while we pursued in him into the complex. I drove around the other side to block him off.
We then pulled in front of the [REDACTED] building and he exited his vehicle and fled on foot. I exited my vehicle and pursued him on foot. As I pursued him I dropped my Taser and relied on the officers behind me to recover my equipment, I also did not want to lose sight of Tyrease. I saw him run up the stair of the [REDACTED] building and into number [REDACTED]. He slammed and locked the door behind himself. I kicked the door in with three kicks to continue the hot pursuit. I also did not know if he had entered an innocent civilian’s home. When entering I asked an old man sitting on the couch where he went to which he replied “I don’t know.” Using my department issued pistol I began to search the rooms in the apartment. I let other officers in the apartment when they arrived. We searched the rooms and PFC Carranza located him first.
I, PFC Carranza, Ofc Rickett, and Ofc Smith all pointed our firearms at him and ordered him to get on the ground. Tyrease refused to obey lawful orders and asked if we were going to shoot him. Given that Tyrease had shown continued and blatant disregard for the safety of others and disobeyed lawful commands from officers I holstered my firearm and struck Tyrease in the face with a closed fist to his mouth. Tyrease bent down and all officers present began to restrain him. I grabbed his head and guided him down to the ground. When sufficiently lowered I restrained his left arm and other officers placed handcuffs on him. He was searched and marijuana was found in his pants pocket. I later recovered my Taser.
Tyrease Creamer was led back to and placed in the back of my vehicle and transported to the Floyd County Jail where he was booked and medically cleared without further incident.

[NARRATIVE #2 on March 17, 2025]
03/17/25 at 01:47 hours, I responded to a call for assistance from Rome Police Department PFC Cipriano. He was actively in a car chase on Turner McCall. I initiated my visible blue lights and audible siren and responded in emergency response due to PFC Cipriano being by alone in the pursuit. I was able to observe the pursuit traveling through the interchange and then outbound on SR 20 E. I caught up to the PFC Cipriano on SR 20 headed inbound near Callier Springs Rd. Dispatch notified me that PFC Cipriano was requesting I take primary in the pursuit. I proceeded around him and began to pursue the vehicle and notified E911 I had taken over as primary officer. I then had OFC Rickett begin to call the chase on the radio. We continued down many roads in East Rome at speeds of 100 mph and up before entering Callier Forest Apts on Dodd Blvd. The vehicle left Callier Forest and went towards Dodd Blvd at the intersection with Callier Springs Rd. He went to a empty lot where he briefly exited his vehicle before fleeing from there. He attempted to strike multiple officers on foot and patrol vehicles during this incident while I had my department issued firearm pointed at him.
He then continued down Callier Springs Rd to SR 20 to the SR 1 Loop at speeds of over 110 mph. He then went to the intersection of SR 1 Loop at SR 293. He then stopped there and also began to attempt to strike officers. When he stopped here I pointed my department issued firearm at him due to him actively fleeing and offering violence by trying to strike police vehicles. He then continued to flee from myself and other officers until he entered Callier Forest a second time. He then stopped the vehicle and bailed out fleeing on foot. Myself and other officers cleared the vehicle and then gave pursuit on foot. We located him inside a closet on the upper floor and I pointed my department issued firearm and gave verbal commands to show me his hands and stop resisting. He physically resisted us and was eventually taken into custody. A bag of marijuana was located on his person. He was transported by SGT Tetsworth to the Floyd County Jail where he was medically cleared and booked in.
All emergency equipment was fully operational throughout the entirety of the chase.
