On September 24, 2026, I was exiting the jail when I was flagged down by the victim/witness, [VICTIM #1] and her family. I was advised by the entirety of the family that a female inside the bonding lobby came outside and urinated on the sidewalk as they were standing there behind their car. [VICTIM #1] and family stated that they also had a toddler present at the time as well.
I did exit my patrol vehicle and observed a wet spot on the sidewalk. I did enter into the jail and reviewed the camera for that location. In the video, it is apparent the female, Versie Jackson, did exit the bonding lobby, walked past the bathroom that was marked as such, and squat down in front of the family. She then stood back up shortly after. Due to this, I did exit the jail and placed Jackson under arrest for public indecency.
She was placed in handcuffs, checked for fit, and double locked per policy. I did advise Jackson of the reason why she was under arrest to which she stated she has kidney issues. When I advised Jackson she walked past a bathroom, she stated she did not see it and that she really had to use the bathroom. Jackson was then booked in the floyd county jail with no issue.
Backseat of patrol vehicle 65 cleared before and after transport
