On 1/24/2025 at 18:47, I conducted a traffic stop on a white Mercedes Benz, Georgia tag [REDACTED] after a GCIC inquiry revealed the registered owner, Brianna Mott, had an active warrant out of Alpharetta.
I confirmed the driver’s identity by matching her GCIC return driver license photo by pulling next to the vehicle at the intersection of Post Rd and Atlanta Highway. Upon contact, Brianna provided her name and DOB but could not produce a physical license. GCIC confirmed the warrant (WNO A2025002802 dated 12/16/2025) and her driving license status, a DUI permit. Under conditions of her driving permit, she stated she was traveling to work, ‘Candyland” in Atlanta and she had her work attire on. While speaking with Brianna, I detected the odor of marijuana emitting from her vehicle. I had Brianna step out of the vehicle and Deputy Broska escorted her to the front of my patrol vehicle. I searched the vehicle based on probable cause and also Brianna’s consent. No contriband was found.
After Alpharetta confirmed the warrant and requested a hold, I placed Brianna in handcuffs behind her back, checked for proper fit and double-locked for safety. A search of Brianna’s person yielded negative weapons or contraband. She was secured in the rear seat of my patrol vehicle with a seatbelt. At Brianna’s request, her vehicle was released on-scene to her father, [REDACTED], after I verified, he possessed a valid driver’s license.
I then transported Brianna to Quik Trip located at 1080 McFarland Parkway and turned her over to Alpharetta Patrol Officer Makhoull (Badge #502).
