On 05/31/2026 around 20:24 hours Lavonia police responded to a domestic on Poplar Street. A female alleged that her partner had sexually assaulted her. The female stated her partner touched her inappropriately inside the residence.
After speaking with both parties video footage was provided by the female. Officers questioned both parties and determined they had probable cause to make a arrest. A male was later arrested and transported to Franklin County.
