On 05/09/2026 at approximately 07:09 hours, Lavonia Police Officers responded to a call from Franklin County 911 Dispatch regarding a suspicious vehicle with a suspicious male slumped over the steering wheel in the roadway near Tugaloo Animal Hospital on Vickery Street. Officer KRUTY responded and was first on scene, where he found the driver (XAVIER KING) slumped over in his 2003 Ford Escape. XAVIER KING appeared to be in a heavily intoxicated state and had multiple injuries from an altercation from the night prior.
Due to XAVIER KING’S intoxicated state and injuries, he was transported and turned over to St. Mary’s Hospital and his vehicle was towed by Williams Towing. Warrants for XAVIER KING’S arrest were taken.
