[NARRATIVE #1 on May 26, 2026]
On May 26th, 2026 at 11:45 PM myself ( #403) and Officer Jenkins ( #429) arrived on scene at [1800 BLOCK] Niles Ave in response to two calls: an assault, and a vehicular accident.
Upon arrival, I witnessed a crowd of people yelling in the middle of the street, on top of a black female lying on her back. We approached the scene, and I saw that the woman, later identified as [VICTIM #1], looked to be unresponsive, and had blood running down her face from an apparent head injury. We worked to create space around her, and began alerting the crowd to get back. They were uncooperative, and it took multiple attempts to keep them away from the victim. Officer Jenkins retrieved a first aid kit from the vehicle and began tending to [VICTIM #1], who was conscious and responding to us.
Officer Brooks (#476), who had arrived shortly after and I focused on scene security. Throughout the incident, there were at least fifteen individuals walking around, with a mixture of shouting and crying. The alleged offender’s boyfriend was amongst the crowd, who I was continuously monitoring due to other individuals approaching him and screaming at him for his girlfriend’s actions.
While securing the area, I was notified of another victim, later identified as [VICTIM #2], who was laid down, silhouetted by a nearby tree. She was conscious and speaking, and Sergeant Pina (#464) made contact with her as soon as I was notified. I resumed monitoring the crowd due to how volatile they were at the time. EMS arrived at 11:49 PM, and both victims were quickly examined and placed into the ambulances.
As the victims were being tended too, I regrouped with Officer Jenkins and began getting information from nearby witnesses. One witness, a black female whom I did not identify but understand is [VICTIM #1]’s aunt wearing a black dress and donning large circular earrings, explained that the alleged offender, Demeria Walker, had “so much to drink.” She informed me that Ms. Walker was driving a silver sedan with tinted windows, possibly a Cadillac or Chrysler, when she struck the victims.
The witness explained that she and others were trying to get Ms. Walker’s boyfriend to take her home, when she became “so aggressive” and started fighting her niece, who was identified as [VICTIM #1]. At this point, everybody had begun telling Demeria to calm down and to leave, and Demeria had begun “fighting everybody.” Demeria then ran to her car, striking the victims as she was leaving. She commented that Demeria was not wearing any clothes when she left, and was completely naked.
At this time, we were notified by dispatch that Demeria had driven to Glynn County PD Headquarters (GCPDHQ) and turned herself in. Officer Corrigan (#497) then went to GCPDHQ to assist. Both victims were transported to hospitals – [VICTIM #1] via ambulance to the Brunswick hospital, and [VICTIM #2] to a Jacksonville hospital via airlift.
Once the scene was clear, I and Officer Jenkins went to the Brunswick hospital intending to see if [VICTIM #1] was able to provide any statements about the events. We made it to the entrance before being rerouted to GCPDHQ to interview Demeria. Upon arrival, Demeria was inside of an interview room completely unclothed with a yellow tarp covering her. Officer Jenkins read her the Miranda Warning, to which she stated she understood her rights and was willing to answer questions.
We began the interview at 12:58 AM. She was confident and started off by stating “Okay so basically this is what happened – boom…” While she spoke, she made some inconsistent statements such as “[WITNESS #1] is my boyfriend’s mom, [WITNESS #1] is my boyfriend – that is my father’s child, we have a one year old together, right? Okay, cool.” She explained that they were “chilling” at [WITNESS #1]’s mom’s house, but that her and his sister, [VICTIM #1], have had “stuff back then, okay cool, that’s all I’m explain okay cool.” She said this while shaking her head back and forth and putting her arms out straight in front of her, palms up.
She continued, saying that [WITNESS #1]’s aunt was going to get steaks, and everybody was out in the front yard hanging out. She was wearing a Mumu (Moo Moo) gown at the time. She commented in a louder tone that she “got jumped by 15-20 people” and that she was mad. When asked to elaborate, she explained that her and [WITNESS #1], where she reiterated “- that’s my boyfriend, his name is [WITNESS #1],” had an agreement of some sort, which she did not elaborate on.
Her dress at this point in time was already ripped, and her “butt was showing.” She got into an argument with [WITNESS #1] about why she was distant and turned away from the family, to which she argued that she didn’t want his family seeing her, even if he claims they weren’t paying attention to her. She then continued discussing about how [WITNESS #1] was not a disrespectful person, would never disrespect the police, and how he was “locked up” before and was cooperative.
While Officer Jenkins attempted to turn her attention back to the party, she stated “-that’s perfectly fine, cuz I know what’s going on – I’m sober, I can tell ya about the party, that’s perfectly fine…” She began saying that the family was questioning them about why they were arguing, and that “out of nowhere, I don’t know, everybody getting’ mad at me.” She explained that her and [REDACTED], a girl Demeria had allegedly fought a month or two ago, were “playin'” and suddenly “they (the family) mad because – now everybody mad because my clothes are ripped.” She then clarified that her and [REDACTED] were “play fighting” and her clothes ripped during the process.
When asked for more details of the play fighting, Demeria contradicted her previous statement about being sober by saying “sir – I cannot tell you no detail no nothing – I’ve been drinking and driving” and that she “can’t tell you (us) what happened.” She then commented that the family was allegedly mad at her because she was telling them her clothes were ripped. Demeria was angry about having her clothes ripped and having the family question her. While Demeria was becoming angry at the party, the family began telling her to calm down, to which she stated “no I don’t want to calm down.”
When asked about who started the altercation with her, she once again contradicted her initial statement of remembering everything by saying “sir – I cannot tell you that, all I know is that everybody out there fu*kin’ hit me -that’s all I can tell you.” She claimed that [VICTIM #1], [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [WITNESS #2], [VICTIM #2], [REDACTED] hit her and that she was unsure if [REDACTED], [REDACTED] (She stated she didn’t know what her name was) [REDACTED] hit her. She finished this list by stating “everybody jumped me and I want to press charges on everybody” and that she wants a restraining order.
When asked about the events surrounding her striking the two victims with her car, she stated that “all I know is that I just got in the car and came here. I can’t explain nothing else. You get jumped by 15 people and you see where your head is.” Officer Jenkins asked her once more if she remembered who started the “jumping” to which she said “Sir, I just told you, I’ve been drinking, I drove here drunk.”
When asked about the vehicle she drove to GCPDHQ with, she said that she did not know whose car she took, but that she has a G70 2019 Genesis. She was mistakenly told by somebody that she had driven a Chrysler to the department, but upon further investigation it was confirmed she did drive her G70. Officer Jenkins asked her why she had gotten into the vehicle, when she began loudly saying that she had gotten jumped by 12-15 people and that “you just told me you seen the footage.” We did not see any footage, and no comments about footage of the event were made at all during the interview.
She also said that [WITNESS #1] has had her car all day, and that she had been riding with her boyfriend’s family all day. She once again discussed how she wanted to press charges on everybody, and when she was told that she was facing some serious charges herself, she once again commented that we had seen the fight occur in some way. I denied that accusation, since we had not seen anything relating to the fight, and did not mention we saw the fight.
While asking us why we were taking their word for what happened, I told her that we were only going off of the evidence of two victims having been taken to the hospital for being hit by a vehicle. When I made this statement, she immediately said “-which is [VICTIM #1].” When asked to recount who she hit, she then said “the only thing I said was [VICTIM #1] cuz I know – I mean she jumped the fu*k out of me. They all hit me. I’m not finna lie to y’all. Why would I go and just hit somebody for no reason. I’m literally here butt a*s naked.”
Once again when pressed for more details, she stated “you get jumped by like 12-15 people and you tell me what you remember.” Her final statement was that “I just got jumped because people were mad at me because I said my outfit ripped up and people telling me I need to calm down.”
Overall, during the interview, Demeria appeared intoxicated and erratic, unable to stay on track and having to constantly be asked to go back to talking about the events of the party. She was very sure of herself, but made contradicting statements about what she could or could not remember, and suddenly provided information, such as knowing she hit [VICTIM #1] with the car, out of nowhere.
After leaving the interview room, I and Officer Jenkins met with Georgia State Patrol (GSP) Trooper Gonzalez (#282) and provided information about the events. On May 26th, 2026 at 1:44 AM, Trooper Gonzalez placed Demeria under arrest for DUI Less Safe, read her implied consent, to which she agreed to do a blood draw, and was taken to the hospital.

[NARRATIVE #2 on May 26, 2026]
On May 26, 2026, I (PFC K Jenkins #429) was dispatched to the 1800 block of Niles for a noise complaint. While en route, an accident with injuries was dispatched in the same area. The caller advised to DISPATCH that someone was hit by a grey Chrysler sedan (*Per CAD notes*). Based on the CAD notes, Cpl Pina #464 requested for Georgia State Patrol (GSP) to respond. Multiple cars were parked on both sides of the roadway and a crowd of individuals were observed drinking in the front yard of [1800 BLOCK] Niles Ave. In the middle of the roadway, another crowd of individuals were observed. Within that group, a female was lying flat on her back, with several individuals crying on top of her.
Myself and Ofc Pawelek #403 were the first to arrive on scene and observed the above setting. We immediately rushed over to the female who was on the middle of the roadway, in front of [1800 BLOCK] Niles Ave. She was bleeding profusely, with blood running down from her forehead and cheeks. I instructed for all parties to clear away from the victim so that I could render aid. Myself and Ofc Pawelek began moving people away from the female. The crowd continue to pile back towards her. It was clear that the group was sorrowful, disgruntle, and wanted to be closer to the female.
Other officers started arriving on scene, one-by-one, and attempted to help clear away some of the individuals. I went back to my vehicle and grabbed my department issued med kit then returned to the victim to render aid. I utilized gauze to apply pressure to the wound until EMS arrived on scene. Once Glynn County Fire Rescue 3 arrived, they took over the medical aid and placed her into the Rescue 3. The female was identified as [VICTIM #1]. During this encounter, the female was conscious, breathing, was able to speak, and was calm; although she did appear to be tired and sluggish. She advised that just her head hurts.
Another female, later identified as [VICTIM #2], was observed, by Sgt Pina #464, lying in the front edge of the lawn in front of [1800 BLOCK] Niles Ave. [VICTIM #2] was adjacent to [VICTIM #1] and had an open left ankle fracture. Rescue 11 responded to the scene and conducted first aid for [VICTIM #2]. Multiple Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) and Coastal College of GA Police (CCGA) arrived on scene to assist with crowd control. Fire Rescue requested for a helicopter transport for [VICTIM #2]. Around this time, the driver of the offending vehicle arrived at the GCPD Headquarters, on her own accord. Ofc Corrigan #497 went to that location to standby with the alleged offender.
I went to towards the residence and advised for other officers to start gathering statements. I first spoke to [WITNESS #3] who was intoxicated at this time. She advised that everyone, on scene, was at out her ([1800 BLOCK] Niles Ave) partying. A female named Da’Meria Walker had too much to drink. Da’Meria got into an argument with [WITNESS #3]’s nephew, [WITNESS #1], who is also Da’Meria’s boyfriend. Everyone on scene was telling [WITNESS #1] to take Da’Meria back home. Da’Meria did not like that she was being told to go home and started fighting with the family by “swinging” on everybody. Then Da’Meria purposely got into her own vehicle and drove into the crowd of people.
While attempting gather a statement multiple people attempted to enter the residence of [1800 BLOCK] Niles Ave. To preserve the scene, I had all parties exit the residence and stay in the front yard. I went back to [WITNESS #3] to continue her statement. [WITNESS #3] advised that Da’Meria tried fighting her nephew ([WITNESS #1]) first, then started fighting everyone else. After that, Da’Meria got into her own vehicle and drove into the family.
I went inside of the rear of Rescue 11 to speak to [VICTIM #2]. She advised that came outside of the residence ([1800 BLOCK] Niles Ave) to look for her mother [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #2] observed Da’Meria punch towards [VICTIM #1]’s face but missed. [VICTIM #1] swung back at Da’Meria and [VICTIM #2] joined in the fray by punching Da’Meria. After the fighting, [VICTIM #2], Da’Meria, and [VICTIM #1] was arguing at the gate (Urbana Park’s basketball court entrance). Da’Meria got into her own vehicle then ran over [VICTIM #2] and [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #2] was transported to Howard Coffin Park to be transported, by helicopter, to Jacksonville, FL. Ofc Brooks #476 went to Howard Coffin Park to for scene security. A further statement will be gathered at a later time.
I then went inside of the rear of Rescue 3 to speak to [VICTIM #1]. She advised that Da’Meria was upset about the “family dynamics”. After the argument, Da’Meria got into her own vehicle and hits [VICTIM #1] with it. Asked [VICTIM #1] about any threats being made or if either side got into a physical fight. She replied “no” to both. [VICTIM #1] was transport to the Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick Campus E.R. (hospital) and further statements will be gathered at a later time.
Other BPD officers gathered statements and the scene was released. Ofc Weatherspoon #490, Cpl Pinar and Ofc Brooks went to the hospital for scene security. Myself and Ofc Pawelek arrived at GCPD Headquarters to conduct an interview and meet with GSP Trooper Gonzalez #282.
Upon my arrival, I met with the alleged offender, Da’Meria who was sitting in a GCPD interview room. Da’Meria was completely naked and GCPD officer provided her a large yellow plastic like sheet to cover her body. I observed fresh lumps (bruising) on her forehead. I observed large scratches across her face, neck, both arms, and both shoulders. I read Da’Meria the Miranda Warning. She advised that she understood her rights and was willing to answer questions. I told her to explain what occurred during the incident.
Da’Meria advised that she was chilling at [WITNESS #1]’s mother’s residence ([1800 BLOCK] Niles Ave). [WITNESS #1]’s family was doing a “get-together” and was having fun by drinking. Da’Meria decided to wear a “MooMoo” dress/gown with no other clothing or undergarments under, to the event. The right side of her gown was turn exposing her rear end. She decide to turn her body to the side and her boyfriend questioned her about why she was so far away. The two of them got into a brief argument about it.
Da’Meria began going off topic and I told her to continue the story. She mentioned that she was sober and knew what was going on. Continuing her statement, she advised that everyone was getting mad at her because she was mad at them for looking at her while she was “exposed”. A female named [REDACTED] was play fighting with Da’Meria. (When asked to further explain, she advised that she was too drunk to remember.)
Da’Meria advised that everyone is telling her to calm down. She did not want to calm down because she felt as if everyone was downplaying her being naked. (Da’Meria then advised that she was not drunk.) Da’Meria then advised that she was very confident that [VICTIM #1] hit her. She claimed that about 15-20 people “jumped” her. She was also sure that following people “jumped” her: [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [WITNESS #2], [VICTIM #2], & [REDACTED]. Da’Meria advised that she does not know and can’t explain anything else other than she got into her own vehicle and left the scene. She got into the vehicle because she was “jumped” by 12-15 people. She claimed ownership of a silver 2019 Genesis G70.
Trooper Gonzalez arrived on scene. She started off with investigating the D.U.I. aspect of the incident and obtaining a statement from Da’Meria. Myself and Ofc Pawelek went to the front parking lot of GCPD to observed the vehicle Da’Meria utilized. The vehicle was in fact the Genesis G70 which was registered to Da’Meria. The driver’s door was still open and the vehicle had damages to the front passenger side fender. The front driver side rim appeared to have been “curbed” with scratches all over it.
Trooper Gonzalez was requested by the BPD shift supervisor to take over the Accident Call due to the severity of the crime. Trooper Gonzalez advised that she will be charging O.C.G.A. 40-6-391; DUI & O.C.G.A. 40-6-270; Hit and run. Trooper Gonzalez was not able to arrive to the original scene and needed more investigation before charging in Crime Against Persons offenses. I advised her that I will be investigating the crime 16-5-21(a)(2); Aggravated Assault if BPD is needed to place the charges.
Trooper Gonzalez will be doing a follow-up to continue her investigation. She placed Da’Meria under arrest for the above traffic offenses and towed the Genesis G70. GCPD officers provided case #G26-31775 in reference to the front lobby cameras capturing the events of Da’Meria’s arrival.

[NARRATIVE #3 on May 26, 2026]
On May 26, 2026, I arrived on scene to a reported accident with injuries involving a vehicle running over a group of people. When I arrived, I observed several people walking around, all emergency vehicles on scene, and aid being provided to one of the injured parties. I began providing scene security and speaking with people on the scene.
I made contact with a black female wearing a black dress with large circular earrings and a black female with stripped blue and white dress. Both of them advised that they had witnessed the incident. It was advised to me that everyone on the scene was partying and that they had people come from out of town for a get-together.
They advised that the offender, identified as Demeria Walker, had consumed too much alcohol, and Walker began getting into it with her boyfriend. People began telling the boyfriend to take her home, at which point Walker became aggressive. Walker began physically fighting with the family and got into her car, purposely driving her vehicle into the victims. I gathered the offender’s name and date of birth.
I then observed officers following people into the residence, and upon officers securing the residence, assisted officers in interviewing another black female outside the home. I gathered [WITNESS #1]’s contact information and provided scene security until I was sent to the Glynn County Police Headquarters.
Upon my arrival at GCPD, I documented all damage to the vehicle and, in plain view, observed blood on the center console of the vehicle. I also observed damage to the front bumper of the vehicle, and was advised by officers with the Glynn County Police that she was unclothed and found inside the lobby by officers. I waited with the vehicle for a Trooper with the Georgia State Patrol to arrive on scene to document everything for their report while the offender was inside an interview room.
Officers with the Brunswick Police then arrived on scene at GCPD HQ and began interviewing Walker. Pfc K. Jenkins performed the interview, and during that time, I observed the following:
Walker advised that she and [WITNESS #1] were chilling at the party with [WITNESS #1]’s family. Walker advised that she had a falling out with [WITNESS #1]’s sister in the past. After hanging out at the residence for some time her and [WITNESS #1] had begun to argue about her outfit. Members of the family then began to get involved in the verbal altercation, and out of nowhere, everyone began getting mad at Walker because her clothes were ripped. She and [REDACTED] were play-fighting, which caused Walker’s clothes to rip.
She then advised that she had been drinking and driving and could provide no details when Pfc. Jenkins asked for more details about the fight. Walker advised that she is unable to tell officers who actually started the fight with her and that all she knows is that everyone out there hit her. Walker then began naming the people who struck her, which Ofc A. Pawelek notated.
I then left the interview to make contact with the Trooper who arrived on scene. I placed my bodycam in the room for the first ten minutes, the trooper interviewed Walker, and waited in the hallway until I was requested to go to calls that were coming out.

[NARRATIVE #4 on May 26, 2026]
On the above date and time, I, OFC Brooks, responded to [1800 BLOCK] Niles Ave in reference to a hit-and-run involving injuries.
Upon arrival, I observed a group of males and females surrounding a female lying on the ground. I immediately approached the group and attempted to separate the individuals present. While doing so, I observed that the female on the ground was bleeding from the head and mouth.
I began moving individuals away from the immediate area in an effort to secure the scene. While securing the scene, several individuals advised that everyone had been consuming alcohol. The group of people was not being coorpitive, at first, but they were started listening. After the scene was secured, I made contact with witnesses.
I spoke with [WITNESS #4], who stated that Demeria Walker had been drinking with the group and became involved in an argument with [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #4] advised that Walker began acting erratically, and several individuals attempted to calm her down. [WITNESS #4] further stated that Walker began striking and cursing at multiple individuals, and several people struck her back in response.
[WITNESS #4] stated that [VICTIM #1] and her daughter were standing in the roadway when she warned them to move because Walker was going to strike them with her vehicle. According to [WITNESS #4], Walker then entered her vehicle, struck [VICTIM #1] and her daughter with the vehicle, and fled the scene.
I also spoke with [WITNESS #2], who stated that Demeria Walker was arguing with [WITNESS #4] and began acting aggressively. [WITNESS #2] advised that several individuals prevented Walker from fighting [VICTIM #1], after which Walker began fighting multiple people. [WITNESS #2] further stated that Walker then entered a vehicle, struck [VICTIM #1] and her daughter, and fled the scene.
I followed EMS personnel to Howard Coffin Park, where the daughter was being airlifted to a hospital in Jacksonville. After clearing the scene at the park, I responded to the hospital to assist with crowd control, as several individuals had gathered there. After assisting hospital Security, the crowd was brought under control.

[NARRATIVE #5 on May 26, 2026]
On May 26, 2026, I, Ofc. Weatherspoon, responded to [1800 BLOCK] Niles Ave in reference to an Assault.
Upon my arrival, I observed approximately twenty or more individuals screaming, crying and acting out disorderly in the middle of the roadway. While attempting to make contact with several individuals to gather information regarding the incident, I also worked to keep people from approaching EMS personnel so they could assist the injured females on scene. During the investigation, I was advised that the boyfriend of the female driver involved was still on scene.
Upon making contact with [WITNESS #1], Mr. [WITNESS #1] repeatedly stated that the incident was not his fault. [Mr.] [WITNESS #1] stated “They got into it and somehow they started jumping my girlfriend. It was ten people against one. My girlfriend got up because she had no clothes on, naked, and bleeding. She got in the car and she drove off. When she drove off she ran and hit them and left. She hit three of my family members. I wouldn’t know she was going to do that.”
I then walked over to Cpl. Pina and advised him that I had obtained the driver’s information. I observed several individuals approaching the EMS truck; therefore, I went over to the area to prevent anyone from attempting to enter or interfere with EMS personnel while they were providing medical assistance.
