On 05/02/2026 at approximately 1715 hours, Glynn County Police Department responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Brunswick, GA, in reference to a sexual battery incident.
When I arrived on scene, I spoke with the caller/complainant, [WITNESS #1], who advised the incident had occurred to her daughter, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (10). [WITNESS #1] stated the occurrence took place on Saturday, 4/25/2026, at approximately 1700-1800 hours. She advised her ex boyfriend, Demetrius Hall, had come over to the residence around 1700 hours. [WITNESS #1] stated Hall and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] were sitting in the living room together and [WITNESS #1] went to the back bedroom to fold some laundry.
[WITNESS #1] stated Hall left about 1800 and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not say anything that night. [WITNESS #1] advised she could not remember it was Sunday or Monday when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told her that Hall had touched her. She advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Hall “touched my butt, and kept touching it when I told him no.” [WITNESS #1] advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told her Hall grabbed onto her buttocks and would not let go for several seconds, even though [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told him to stop.
I asked to speak to [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was unable to give me very many details and just stated “he grabbed my butt” and then looked at her mom, [WITNESS #1], for reassurance each time I attempted to ask a question. [WITNESS #1] advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had stated Hall had attempted to kiss her before, several months ago, while [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was being interviewed by DCFS. [WITNESS #1] stated this case had been closed and dismissed. [WITNESS #1] stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had asked for Hall to come over on the evening of 04/25/2026 as she missed him and “views him as a stepfather”. [WITNESS #1] advised she daughter is ADHD and severe personality swings.
I located Hall on locals and was unable to contact him today. I will attempt to make contact with Hall at the beginning of my next shift and if contact is made, I will add a supplemental. At this time, I do not believe I have enough probable cause to pursue an arrest warrant.
[WITNESS #1] was provided with a case number.
