On Friday, April 11, 2025, I, Corporal Earl F. Wilson 407, was assigned to Brunswick Police (BPD) Patrol A-2. I wore a full BPD patrol uniform with a digital body-worn Axon camera. I was operating from a marked patrol truck 20-2.

At about 1638 hours, BPD officers responded to a fight call (25BP08458) in the 2200 block of Wolfe Street. Initial investigation revealed two juvenile females had gotten into a fight. One juvenile is related to [2200 BLOCK] Wolfe, and the other to [2200 BLOCK]. As the teens fought, an adult involved herself in the physical altercation, causing a 19-year-old sibling of one teen to join in the fray. This led to a large altercation between multiple subjects.

Each group blamed the other group, and the witnesses in the area could only establish that the fight had started between the teens. I told both groups that the Officers’ only action could be a mass arrest for affray based on available evidence and told them to return to their respective homes.

At about 1659 hours, a second fight call was received by the Glynn-Brunswick 911 Center from the same area. On arrival, the same groups and additional females were yelling and arguing in the street and yards along the 2200 block of Wolfe Street.

I observed KIARIA MIDDLEBROOKS walking down the street and yelling at the residents of [2200 BLOCK], trying to reignite the event. Kiaria was not present at the first event, and we would learn she had been called to the location by her relatives/friends at [2200 BLOCK].

EBONY PITTS was on the front porch of [2200 BLOCK], her mother’s house. She had been present for the first fight call.

Persons from [2200 BLOCK] alleged that Ebony had pulled out a firearm and made non-specific threats. She was alleged to have stood on her mother’s porch while brandishing the gun. Ebony admitted to pulling the pistol but stated she held it to her side, pointed at the ground, and never left the porch. She said she pulled the weapon when a large group ran towards her location. A neighbor across the street stated that Ebony had held the gun with her elbow bent, pointed at the sky, and said something to the effect you don’t want this.

Ebony handed a bag containing the firearm to me, and I gave it to Officer Sasser to secure in a patrol car while the investigation was conducted.

Ebony and Kiaria repeatedly yelled and cursed, creating further issues and disturbance. Neither of them lives on Wolfe Street. Both engaged in conduct detrimental to the residents, took place in front of juveniles and contributed to a breakdown of peaceful and law-abiding behavior. Ebony and Kiaria did violate City of Brunswick municode 16-22 Disorderly Conduct to wit “(b) A person (EBONY and KIAIRIA) commits the offense of disorderly conduct when he remains in any place (2200 block WOLFE) where there is disagreement being expressed between persons for the purpose of causing, provoking, or engaging in a fight or brawl.”

I instructed Officer Sasser to place Kiaria under arrest while I arrested Ebony. I handcuffed Ebony behind her back and double locked the cuffs while checking for fit. Ebony was searched by K9 Officer deBruijn. I then transported her to Glynn County Detention Center to be booked and lodged.

After arriving at detention, I wrote both women city court citations for Disorderly Conduct. When written the code used was 16-22f and should have been 16-22b. They both signed and received their copy of the citation. I completed arrest booking sheets for both women. the booking sheets and citations were turned into booking deputies. The women were released to the custody of the Sheriff.
