On May 23, 2026, at approximately 0201 hours. the Glynn County Police Department responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, I made contact with [WITNESS #1]. He informed me that his mother, [VICTIM #1], had been assaulted by her husband, Fredrick Foster, who had fled the scene. [WITNESS #1] stated that he was on the phone with a female at approximately 0136 hours when his mother came into the house crying and saying that Fredrick had put his hands on her, slammed her to the ground, and caused her to hit her head. [WITNESS #1] also stated that Fredrick got in his face and attempted to take his phone while he was calling 911.

I then made contact with the victim, [VICTIM #1]. She informed me that she and Fredrick had been together for two years and married for eight months, and that this was not the first incident involving Fredrick putting his hands on her. [VICTIM #1] stated that earlier on 05/22/2026, while they were at her mother’s residence for a gathering, Fredrick pulled her hair. She stated that when they returned home at approximately 0115 hours, Fredrick backed into the garage door, which led to an argument. [VICTIM #1] stated that the next thing she remembered was Fredrick fighting with her and slamming her to the ground in the front yard, causing her to hit her head. She stated she was unsure how long she was unconscious. [VICTIM #1] advised that she did not remember much afterward but did remember calling her mother at approximately 0211 hours.

I observed a quarter-sized knot on the back of [VICTIM #1]’s head and bruising on her elbow. A victim’s advocate brochure was provided to her along with the case number.

I then made contact with the complainant, [WITNESS #2], [VICTIM #1]’s mother. [WITNESS #2] stated that [VICTIM #1] called her and said Fredrick had put his hands on her, causing her to hit her head and lose consciousness. [WITNESS #2] also stated that Fredrick called her afterward from [VICTIM #1]’s phone, saying that everything was fine. [WITNESS #2] stated that this prompted her to cal1 911 while she was on the way to the residence.

Officer Shipskie located the black GMC Sierra at [4700 BLOCK] Old Jesup Road with Fredrick Foster asleep in the back seat. Officer Holt knocked on the window and announced ourselves as Glynn County Police officers. When asked where he had been between the hours of 0130 and 0200 hours, Fredrick initially stated that he had been at the residence where we located him. When asked about the argument between him and [VICTIM #1], he stated it was about the children. Fredrick denied putting his hands on [VICTIM #1] and claimed that she put her hands on him. Fredrick later admitted that he had been at the residence and that the argument occurred inside the house.

Due to probable cause, Fredrick Foster was arrested for Battery (FVA). He was handcuffed behind his back, searched, double locked, and checked for proper fit.

Fredrick was secured in a seatbelt and transported to the Glynn County Detention Center for the booking process, where he was turned over to jail staff without incident.

I observed a video surveillance camera at a neighbor’s residence; however, it did not capture the incident.
