On 6/29/26 at 1433 I responded to 1131 Chapel Crossing Rd; FLETC main entrance in reference to a sex offense.
Upon arrival Ofc. Davis and I met with a FLETC security officer that would then escort us to building 93. Once Ofc Davis and I arrived to building 93 we spoke with [WITNESS #1] the OPR Agent who would then brief us on the situation that occurred the morning of 6/27/2026. [WITNESS #1] advised that the suspect Haniff Williams was expelled and moved out to rm. 121 TownePlace Suites on Gateway Center Blvd due to the report of the sex offense.
This report advised the victim [REDACTED BY AGENCY], the suspect Williams, and multiple friends were out drinking on a Friday night, 6/26/26, to celebrate the passing of test 3. This night began with numerous drinks being consumed by [REDACTED BY AGENCY] at the Mexican restaurant known as 1800 on 5296 New Jesup Hwy, Brunswick GA. Afterwards their group went back to FLETC to have more drinks at the G-bar. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was advised by Williams that their friend group would be going back to his place to celebrate, play games and have more drinks so she went to Williams room however the friend group was not advised and she was the only one there.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] was said to have woken up in Williams’s room with no recollection of what happened after having drinks at Williams’s room. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was said to have woken up not wearing her own clothes, and was told by Williams that he changed her because she urinated and vomited on herself. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] friends were concerned that something else happened to her that night out and urged her to reach out to Williams to find out more about what took place that night. Williams then confirmed that they had vagi*al sexual intercourse. Copies of the text messages were provided by [WITNESS #1] that confirmed this.
After Speaking with [WITNESS #1], Ofc Davis and I then went into what seemed to be a conference room to speak with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] would then give her side of the story which aligned with what was told to myself and Ofc. Davis by [WITNESS #1].
Ofc. Davis then reached out to Lt. Floyd who would then advise us that Detective Cornell would be enroute to take on this case. Det. Correll would then make his way to FLETC and meet us at bldg. 93. Once Correll arrived, [WITNESS #1] explained the same summarized story that was told to Ofc. Davis and I to Det. Correll. Det. Correll was advised that Williams was still in his room by [WITNESS #1] and requested Ofc. Davis and I bring him back for more questioning.
Ofc. Davis and I left bldg. 93 enroute to rm. 121 TownePlace and suites upon arrival we informed Williams our reason for picking him up and he complied to being transported. Before we let Williams into the patrol vehicle we patted him down for weapons then placed him in the back seat and transported him back to bldg. 93 at FLETC.
Once we arrived Ofc. Davis and I waited with the suspect before Det. Correll would take him into his custody. Det. Correll was busy interviewing the victim, once he was able to take custody of the suspect we continued to standby until Det. Moses arrived to Bldg. 93.
This call was recorded on my Glynn County Police Department issued Axon body camera and uploaded to Evidence.com
