On June 26, 2025 I was dispatched to 5693 ALTAMA AV; PARKERS for a call of a hit and run.
I arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant a Ms. [VICTIM #1] who stated a male by the name of Isaiah Richardson had ran his vehicle into her and her brother while at the gas station. When I was speaking to Ms. [VICTIM #1], her brother [VICTIM #2] was being checked out by EMS. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated Mr. Richardson and herself had been in a verbal argument inside the store, in which Mr. Richardson had stated to her he would punch her in the face. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated they should take this outside. Then while Ms. [VICTIM #1] was walking away Mr. Richardson threw a cup of Ice at her.
Then I was speaking to the brother a Mr. [VICTIM #2], who stated he began arguing with the male outside the store, and during which everyone began to walk away and then Mr. Richardson backed up and drove his car into Mr. [VICTIM #2] vehicle, while he was halfway inside of it. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was near the passenger side area and had to move up onto the curb. Then Mr. Richardson fled the scene.
I gathered Mr. [VICTIM #2] information and his vehicles, then I went inside Parkers and asked to see security footage of the incident.
I went inside and witnessed the argument in the store, and Mr. Richardson throwing the cup of Ice at Ms. [VICTIM #1]. Then Mr. Richardson pulling up near Mr. [VICTIM #2] vehicle, and he began arguing with the brother. During which Ms. [VICTIM #1] had gotten involved again and then Mr. Richardson got in his car and made a left and turn, during this Ms. [VICTIM #1] struck the rear of his vehicle with an object, believed to be a hammer. Then Mr. Richardson stopped and drove his vehicle into Mr. [VICTIM #2] car while he was halfway inside it. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was running from the attack.
I then gave the store manager a evidence.com link and a case card.
I waited for Tiger towing to come, and tow Mr. [VICTIM #2] car from the scene.
During this time, other officers were able to locate Mr. Richardson after he had called in after the fact and wanted to plead his case. I met with them off of 341 Venture Drive, the Aldi parking lot. I began speaking with Mr. Richardson who stated they had been threating him for the past weeks and he didn’t mean to drive into their vehicle. Mr. Richardson stated his car had no power steering and he was unable to control his vehicle due to being scared and the adrenaline from the incident. Mr. Richardson stated he fled the scene for his own safety from them.
Mr. Richardson was placed under arrest and handcuffed, checked for fit, and double locked. Mr. Richardson was placed in squad car and I read him Miranda rights to further inquire of the incident. Mr. Richardson agreed to go to headquarters for questioning.
Mr. Richardson was then transported t the CDC without incident.
