[NARRATIVE #1 on August 28, 2024]

On the above date and time, I was dispatched to [2200 BLOCK] Poinsettia Cir. in reference to a domestic.

When I arrived I spoke with [VICTIM #1] and asked him to explain what happened. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised that he got into an argument with his step son Jason Hanson. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised that Mr. Hanson was on the phone and he told him to put the phone away and get back to work. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised that Mr. Hanson was very upset and said it was rude that he told him to hang up. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised that after he told Mr. Hanson this, started an argument between the two. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised he told Mr. Hanson to walk outside and cool off. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised once Mr. Hanson came back into the house and said “if you are going to fire me then you need to pay me”. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised that he told Mr. Hanson that he was not fired he just needed to go cool off for a little bit. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised that Mr. Hanson said he was going to hit him. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised he told Mr. Hanson do what you have to do then Mr. Hanson began to punch him in the face. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised after the physical altercation Mr. Hanson walked out and left the scene and did not return.

I could see a bruise starting to form under Mr. [VICTIM #1] left eye and there was dried blood in his nose from being hit. I could see blood on his arm from where blood from his nose dripped onto his arm.

I went and spoke with a witness [WITNESS #1] and asked him to explain what happened inside of the house. Mr. [WITNESS #1] advised that Mr. [VICTIM #1] said something to Mr. Hanson that started an argument. Mr. [WITNESS #1] advised that Mr. Hanson then walked off and then he came back to the residence. Mr. [WITNESS #1] advised that once Mr. Hanson came back to the residence they started to argue again. Mr. [WITNESS #1] advised that he was in the other room and did not see anything. I asked Mr. [WITNESS #1] if he saw the altercation happen between Mr. [VICTIM #1] and Mr. Hanson. Mr. [WITNESS #1] advised he did not see the altercation. Mr. [WITNESS #1] said “I ran up and pulled him off of him, they were arguing and I was just standing there arguing and I pulled him back and told him to go”.

Mr. Hanson was not on scene at the time I arrived and I was unable to speak with him.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] was advised about his victims rights and was given a victims bill of rights.

Warrants have been taken out for Battery FVA on Mr. Hanson.
