On 06/13/2026 I responded to 321 Mallery Street (Del Sur) in reference to an alleged fight between a group of people in the parking lot.
I made contact with a vehicle occupied by five individuals that were trying to leave the parking lot, due to them not knowing anyone called the police. Officer Z. Mckendree #178 was speaking to the driver outside of the vehicle and I approached the passenger side of the vehicle. I opened the rear passenger door to the vehicle and ordered everyone out of the vehicle. The back seat middle passenger, later identified as SADE KERR, initially refused to get out of the vehicle telling officers to “shut the fu*k up”.
I observed blood on Sade’s white t-shirt and advised her we were investigating an alleged fight and due to her having blood on her shirt, she needed to step out of the vehicle or we would remove her from the vehicle. Ms. Sade continued to refuse to exit the vehicle, yelling profanities at officers all while in view of the public. Ms. Sade’s mother, later identified as [WITNESS #1], assisted Ms. Sade in getting out of the vehicle. When Ms. Sade exited the vehicle, she used her right hand to push her mother away. After witnessing this act, Officer Z. Mckendree and I placed Ms. Sade in handcuffs before walking her to my patrol vehicle, and placing her in the back seat for the remainder of the investigation.
I advised Officer B. McLain #155 to obtain Ms. [WITNESS #1]’s personal information and confirmed she was in fact Ms. Sade’s mother. I advised Ms. [WITNESS #1] of the Family Violence Act of Georgia and that Ms. Sade would be charged with Simple Battery FVA OCGA 16-5-23.
I asked Ms. [WITNESS #1] what initially caused a citizen to call 911 and report a fight, and Ms. [WITNESS #1] advised she was called by some of Sade’s friends to come pick up Ms. Sade due to her being intoxicated and belligerent. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated when she arrived, Ms. Sade was yelling profanities at her and refusing to get inside the vehicle. Ms. [WITNESS #1] did state she smacked Ms. Sade in the face with an open hand in a disciplinary manner, attempting to control Ms. Sade’s actions and get her inside the vehicle to avoid any other issues. There was no malicious intent in Ms. [WITNESS #1]’s actions to discipline her child, so I advised he she would not be charged for the physical contact, after witnessing the aggressive and belligerent behavior of Ms. Sade.
While I was obtaining Ms. [WITNESS #1]’s statements regarding the incident, I observed my patrol car shaking, windows vibrating, and heard yelling from inside. Ms. Sade was actively kicking the windows and bars in the back seat of my patrol car while screaming profanities in view of the public. Officers Z. Mckendree and Officer B. Dallas #230 opened the back door to my patrol vehicle and advised Ms. Sade to stop kicking so she would not damage the vehicle and obtain a felony charge. Ms. Sade continued to scream profanities at the officers and kicked both Officer B. Dallas and Officer Z. Mckendree. These actions can be viewed on my back seat in car camera and have been uploaded to evidence.com.
We were able to secure Ms. Sade inside the vehicle again, however she continued to kick the bars and windows in the back seat of my patrol vehicle. Officers removed Ms. Sade from the patrol vehicle and placed her on her stomach and utilized a pair of zip cuffs to secure her feet in an attempt to stop her from damaging the patrol vehicle or kick any other officers. Ms. Sade refused to give any statements regarding the altercation and continued to yell profanities at officers and make statements such as “you deserve to die”.
I transported Ms. Sade to the Glynn County Detention Center and advised Glynn County Dispatch to notify the jail staff that Ms. Sade was combative. Once we arrived at the Glynn County Detention Center, Ms. Sade was transferred into the custody of the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office.
I will be drafting warrants to be signed for the following charges against Ms. Sade:
Simple Battery FVA OCGA 16-5-23
Disorderly Conduct OCGA 16-11-39
Obstruction of Law Enforcement OCGA 16-10-24(b) (FELONY)
Obstruction of Law Enforcement OCGA 16-10-24(b) (FELONY)
