On Saturday at approximately 1438 hours, I responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to a domestic violence call.

Upon arrival, I spoke with [VICTIM #1] who stated she is pregnant. [VICTIM #1] stated her husband, Willie Middleton who does not live there came over for about an hour, started fighting with her because she told him she did not want to be with him anymore. [VICTIM #1] stated Willie grabbed her around her neck with his hand, choked her several times until she was about to pass out in front of their son, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] 3-yrs old. [VICTIM #1] stated Willie slapped her in the face. [VICTIM #1] stated Willie will have some scratches on him because she was trying to get him off her.

[VICTIM #1] stated she was able to get out of the apartment, she ran down the sidewalk. Willie came out the apartment, walked in the direction [VICTIM #1] ran then he turned around and went back toward the apartment and picked up their son and left. I viewed video from [REDACTED BY AGENCY] of [VICTIM #1] running from the apartment and Willie walking in the direction she ran. This video has been uploaded into evidence.com under this case number.

[VICTIM #1] stated Willie snatched her grey, Android cell phone, valued $50, while she was talking with her mother, but we found the cell phone outside on the ground in front of the apartment. During the physical argument, [VICTIM #1] stated Willie damaged the Vizio television, 75 inch, valued $400.

[VICTIM #1] stated Willie took her house keys. She has only been there for two weeks when she moved it was only for her and her son. [VICTIM #1] stated Willie was only suppose to help her move because she can’t lift anything but he has been trying to be slick by leaving clothes. [VICTIM #1] stated they have been going through this for the last couple of months and its getting worse.

Ofc. Chandler arrested Willie Middleton at McDonald’s, 4545 Altama Avenue. Upon arrival, I spoke with Mr. Middleton who stated [VICTIM #1] was mad at him because her hormones, also because he has not been home since Wednesday. Mr. Middleton stated he has been charged with strangulation he would have broke her phone so she could not call the police. Mr. Middleton admitted to throwing the phone outside. Mr. Middleton stated he will go down for family violence but not aggravated assaulted. Mr. Middleton stated [VICTIM #1] will be down there in two days to sign an affidavit.

[VICTIM #1] was giving a Victim’s Bill of Rights pamphlet.
