On Saturday, 22nd February 2025, at approximately 0024 Deputy S. M. HENERY with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division, responded to [2500 BLOCK] Highway 41 N Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia, in reference to a report of a 911 open line with a possible disturbance.

Upon arrival, Deputy HENERY observed a male subject, Mr. ADAM HANSON, standing in the carport outside of the residence. Upon approaching Mr. HANSON it was apparent that he was highly intoxicated. Mr. HANSON was slurring his speech, had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person, and was having trouble maintaining his balance. Mr. HANSON stated that he did not call 911 and did not know why Law Enforcement was at his residence.

Deputy HENERY then met with the complainant, Mrs. [VICTIM #1], who advised that she called 911 because Mr. HANSON was highly intoxicated, yelling at her, and stating that Mr. HANSON was going to drive away from the residence to find Mrs. [VICTIM #1]’S ex-husband. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised that Mr. HANSON was not making any threats to do harm to anyone, and that she was afraid that he would try to leave the residence and drive while highly intoxicated. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised that she just wanted Mr. HANSON to calm down and go to bed.

Deputy HENERY then met with Mr. HANSON again and Mr. HANSON stated that he was not going to leave the residence and that he had calmed down and wanted to go to bed. Deputy HENERY left from the scene without incident.

At approximately 0107 hours, Deputy HENERY responded back to the residence, in reference to a 911 open line and someone stating please help.

Upon arrival, Mr. HANSON had walked back outside and was irate and asking who had called Law Enforcement. Deputy HENERY then met with Mrs. [VICTIM #1] again who advised that Mr. HANSON had came back into the residence and was yelling at her and asking who had called 911. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised that MR. HANSON then went into the bedroom and got his pistol and put it up to his head and began threatening to harm himself so Mrs. [VICTIM #1] called 911 again and put her phone in her back pocket until Law Enforcement arrived on scene.

Deputy HENERY then placed Mr. HANSON under arrest and transported him to the Gordon County Jail without incident. Deputy HENERY charged Mr. HANSON with Disorderly Conduct on Citation #77102 through the Resaca Municipal Court.
