On Thursday August 31st, 2023, at approximately 1742 hours, Deputy W. J. GIORGIONE with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division responded to 689 Chatsworth Hwy 225 Calhoun, Gordon County, Ga 30701 Room [REDACTED] in reference to a Physical Domestic in progress.

Deputy GIORGIONE met with complainant [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated her Boyfriend DAKOTA JOHNSON became very angry due to her buying groceries and both being low on money. [VICTIM #1] stated during the verbal altercation DAKOTA had placed her in a choke hold and constricted her breathing causing her to almost lose conciseness. [VICTIM #1] stated DAKOTA had also pushed her onto the floor causing a lacerations on her eyelid.

Deputy GIORGIONE observed [VICTIM #1] to have bloodshot eyes, red marks on her neck area, and a small lacerations on her eyelid. [VICTIM #1] stated their son [REDACTED] was in the room and observed the altercation take place. [VICTIM #1] stated DAKOTA has a very short temper and she and DAKOTA are set to go to court for a previous domestic incident. Photographs of [VICTIM #1]’s injuries were taken. Deputy GIORGIONE provided [VICTIM #1] with a Domestic outreach card.

Deputy GIORGIONE then met with DAKOTA. DAKOTA stated nothing had happened and he did not know why law enforcement was there. DAKOTA stated the only thing that had taken place was he had argued with [VICTIM #1] due to “marital and personal issues”. Deputy GIORGIONE placed DAKOTA in handcuff’s behind the back, checked for proper fit, and double locked. Deputy GIORGIONE then transported DAKOTA to the Gordon County Jail.

Deputy GIORGIONE obtained state warrants for DAKOTA for Aggravated assault F/V, Battery F/V, and Cruelty to children 3rd Degree F/V. Deputy GIORGIONE completed a victim notification for [VICTIM #1]. Deputy GIORGIONE completed a DFACS referral. Photographs were uploaded to the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Database.
