On Monday, July 22, 2024, at approximately 1320 hours, Deputy J. A. MORSE and Deputy J. R. Upon making contact with Ms. [VICTIM #1], Deputy MORSE noticed a laceration on Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s nose and several red marks/bruising around the right side of her face. Deputy MORSE contacted his proper chain of command and advised of the situation. Deputy MORSE was then advised to make contact with Mr. DODGE to get his side of the story. Due to the marks left seen on Ms. [VICTIM #1] and her testimony that Mr. DODGE caused the injuries, Deputy MORSE placed Mr. DODGE in department issued handcuffs, checked for fit, and secured by means of double locking. Deputy MORSE charge Mr. DODGE with Aggravated Battery (FVA). Deputy MORSE took photographs of the injuries on Ms. [VICTIM #1] and the marks seen on Mr. DODGE’s hands.
