On December 22, 2024, I was dispatched to 1101 Red Bud Rd (Walgreens) in response to a possible physical altercation involving multiple individuals. Upon arrival, I spoke with [VICTIM #1], who stated that she was in the store when she came outside and saw two men arguing in front of her vehicle. Concerned for her thirteen-year-old daughter, who was inside the car, she instructed them to move away.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] reported that one of the men, William McLemore, got in her face and began yelling at her about her parking. During the argument, Mr. McLemore punched her arm before driving away. I then spoke with Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s daughter, [VICTIM #1], who was inside the car. [VICTIM #1] said that when Mr. McLemore approached the car window, she rolled it down to see what he wanted. He reportedly said, “I know you’re not the driver, but tell your f—” and the rest was inaudible.

Next, I interviewed the other man involved, [WITNESS #1]. He explained that he had told Mr. McLemore to stop yelling at Ms. [VICTIM #1] because she was a child and had nothing to do with the parking situation. In response, Mr. McLemore confronted him, yelling back. After the altercation, Ms. [VICTIM #1] came outside and told them to move away from her car. Mr. [WITNESS #1] informed her that Mr. McLemore had been yelling at her daughter, at which point Ms. [VICTIM #1] confronted Mr. McLemore.

I was able to view a recorded video of the incident on a witness’s cell phone. The video, recorded by [WITNESS #2], showed Mr. McLemore and Ms. [VICTIM #1] arguing. Moments later, Ms. [VICTIM #1] began pointing at Mr. McLemore, and he slapped her left hand with his right hand. This video will be downloaded to evidence.com, and three witness statement forms will be added to the media tab. Mr. McLemore was taken into custody by Officer Smith
