On the date of 06/16/2025 I Deputy Vaughn responded code 1 to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Demorest in reference to an assault that had occurred in the apartment complex of Oakey Alley.

Upon my arrival I spoke with complainant / victim [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that starting friday he began having issues at work with a co worker who they called “the Cuban”. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that they had exchanged words at few times at work and then he left the situation alone. Today [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was walking by the building in Oakey Alley that the Cuban lived in and stated that the male then approached him aggressively and pushed him on the ground. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that after being pushed on the ground the suspect started biting him as hard as he could in several places on his body. The fight then stopped and the Cuban walked away.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] then went to the Emergency room for treatment for his injuries. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had an open wound on the right side of his face with swelling. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had several bite marks on his hands and arms from the suspect biting him after pushing him to the ground. When [REDACTED BY AGENCY] arrived at the ER and explained how he got his injuries the ER contacted 911 Dispatch.

LT. Cason contacted on call investigations and this matter was turned over to investigator B. Hallman. Photos of the injury will be attached to this report.
