[NARRATIVE #1 on July 18, 2026]
On 07/18/2026 around 1453, I Cpl. Joe Fusco responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in Reference to a assault report. I was advised Ofc. Campbell (408) with Baldwin Police Department was also dispatched while I was on another assignment.
Upon arrival, I made contact with Ofc. Campbell and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she met Robert Guy Mendenhall on Facebook and spoke via messenger and eventually gave each other their phone numbers. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said in 07/10/20126, Mr. Mendenhall came over around 11 pm and they had consensual sex. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said when Mr. Mendenhall wanted to insert his p*nis into her rectum and then her v*gina, she said she did not want to do that and told him to stop and he did not stop.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] said after Mr. Mendenhall was done he Facetimed his friends showing them the bed and saying he just slept with someone. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said they then put their clothes on and he gave her a hug and kiss then left. She said he later texted her saying he just hit a deer. She said she asked if he was ok and he texted yes and she did not respond after that. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said Mr. Mendenhall texted her the next day asking if that how its going to be, and she said she did not feel a connection. She said she also told him that she said no that night and she could get a ecoil from what he had done. She said he never responded.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she also had her self tested and the results came back positive for herpes. She said she texted Mr. Mendenhall and asked if he had herpes or if he had been tested, and he texted back that he was clean and began degrading her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she has not had any communication with Mr. Mendenhall since. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also said her two children were in the house asleep in their room, but did not hear anything. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was advised her residence will be placed on extra patrol for two week, and to call 911 if Mr. Mendenhall should return.
After interviewing [REDACTED BY AGENCY] she volunteering filled out a witness statement form. I then spoke with Judge Dempsey and issued warrants for sexual battery for Mr. Mendenhall.

[NARRATIVE #2 on August 28, 2026]
On 08/28/2026 I was advised that Mr. Mendenhall was arrested detained by Banks County Sheriff’s and arrested and transported by Deputy Dukes of Habersham County Sheriff’s Office to the Habersham County Jail on 08/26/2026 at 1538. I then contacted the Habersham County Jail and requested a victim notification be compleated for the victim [REDACTED BY AGENCY] at 1410.
