On the above date and time I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to an employee that was stealing while working.

Upon arrival I met with AP manager [WITNESS #1] and she advised me that an employee, Angelic Higgins, had been stealing from Walmart since she had been hired in January. She stated the first theft occured on 01/19/2023. [WITNESS #1] also stated that she had stolen from the company 10 times at this point. Higgins was then placed in handcuffs checked for proper fit and double locked. Higgins was then criminal trespassed from the property.

$317.82

Ofc Phagan then transported Higgins to the Haralson County Jail. While the female detention officer, Carter (330), was searching Higgins person, she located a small clear corner cut plastic baggy with suspected methamphetimes in her right side front pants pocket. Carter then informed me of her finding and stated that her body cam was on and if we needed it we could obtain a copy of it.

HIggins was then turned over to HCSO jailers.

The suspected methamphetines was then properly logged and placed into evidence. (N-7355)

Investigator Cochran was then notified of the warrants that were needed on 3/2/2023.

Higgins was charged with the following:

Theft by taking
Possession of a Sch 2
Crossing the guardlines with narcotics.
