Superbowl Wings in Warner Robins receives a 63% on their recent health inspection

Superbowl Wings, located at 1244 Watson Blvd in Warner Robins, received a score of 63 points out of a possible 100 points during their 09/06/2024 inspection by the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The violations noted by the inspector were:

Inspector Notes: Observed several single use cups without straw and lid on prep space throughout the main kitchen. Employees shall consume food only in approved designated areas separate from food preparation and serving areas, equipment or utensil areas and food storage areas. However, drinking from a single service beverage cup with a secure lid and straw that is handled to prevent contamination of the employee’s hands. Cups were discarded.

Inspector Notes: Observed several boxes of raw chicken stored directly above container of honey and sweet tea. Employee relocated the honey and sweet tea to another shelf.

Inspector Notes: Observed bulk container of raw chicken wings (47F) near the fryers not under temperature control nor held on time as public health control above 41F. Except during preparation, cooking, or cooling, or when time is used as the public health control, time/temperature control for safety food shall be maintained at 41°F or below. Per person in charge, the chicken were recently placed on counter. Employee placed chicken on ice bath and moved to walk in cooler to decrease the temperature.

Inspector Notes: Observed numerous containers of cooked general chicken and sweet and sour chicken inside the reach in cooler and walk in cooler not date marked. Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, time/temperature control for safety food prepared and held in a food establishment for more than 24 hours shall be clearly marked to indicate the date or day by which the food shall be consumed on the premises, sold, or discarded, when held at a temperature of 41°F (5°C) or below for a maximum of 7 days. The day of preparation shall be counted as Day 1. Employee will date mark containers.

Inspector Notes: Observed several boxes of food stored directly on the floor inside the walk in freezer. Food shall be protected from contamination by storing the food: In a clean, dry location, where it is not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and at least 6 inches (15 cm) above the floor. Place food items on a shelf or platform at least six inches off the floor.

Inspector Notes: Observed the outside grease receptacle open. Receptacles and waste handling units for refuse, recyclables, and returnables shall be kept covered with tight-fitting lids or doors if kept outside the food service establishment. Employee closed the lid.

Inspector Notes: Observed raw meats and cooked food products stored outside on the ground beside the dumpster. Cardboard or other packaging material that does contain food residues and that is awaiting regularly scheduled delivery to a recycling or disposal site shall be stored inside a trash receptacle that does not create a rodent harborage problem. Food items were placed inside the dumpster.

Have the lighting repaired.
