[NARRATIVE #1 on July 01, 2026]

On July 1st, 2026, at approximately 7:22 PM, I responded to a domestic disturbance at [REDACTED] involving a physical altercation between a male suspect and a mother and child.

I observed a male matching the suspect description riding a bicycle on Ridge Street near 42nd Street. The male was light-skinned wearing a white hat and white shirt. The male turned a corner quickly and I lost visual contact with him between Ridge Street and Smith Street. I coordinated with other units to locate the suspect in the area.

I made contact with [VICTIM #1], who identified herself and provided her identification. Ms. [VICTIM #1] provided the following account: The incident began when children were playing outside and got into a play fight. The suspect, Albert Molina, became upset after being scratched and began screaming at the children. When Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s son told Molina to leave them alone, Molina threw the child off a bike and taunted him. Ms. [VICTIM #1] went outside and told Molina to stop talking to her child that way. Molina then began yelling profanities and racial slurs at the children.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated she pushed Molina to keep him away from the children and get him into the house. Molina left the residence but returned with beer. When Ms. [VICTIM #1] told Molina she did not want alcohol in her house, she began throwing the beer out. Molina then grabbed her and pushed her against the refrigerator. No one witnessed this portion of the incident. Molina poured beer on Ms. [VICTIM #1] during this altercation.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated Molina then went outside and punched her son, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the face. Another child, identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY], witnessed Molina punch [REDACTED BY AGENCY] resides at [REDACTED]. I observed light bruising to the left side of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] cheek. I took photographs of the visible injury to [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s face.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated this was the third incident involving Molina. She had served Molina with papers approximately 30 days prior, requesting him to leave the residence. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated she brought Molina to the residence from Florida to help him. She indicated previous officers told her she could not make him leave and had to file an eviction. Ms. [VICTIM #1] expressed concern about losing custody of her child due to the hostile environment and stated she had lost custody approximately two years ago due to a drunk driving incident.

Molina’s phone number is [REDACTED]. I conducted a records check, which showed [VICTIM #1]’s driver’s license was suspended.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] had video footage of Molina screaming and cursing inside the residence, but did not capture the physical assault on video. I sent Ms. [VICTIM #1] a link to upload all video evidence. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated Molina does not typically leave the residence except to purchase beer at a nearby store.

I then spoke to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who provided the following account: Molina ran up to him while he was riding his bike, grabbed him by the shirt, and threw him off the bike. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he heard yelling inside the house and saw Molina get in his mother’s face. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Molina later grabbed him by the neck, threw him against a car and punched him in the face. Another child confirmed witnessing the assault on [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if he needed medical attention and he stated he was okay.

At approximately 8:13 PM, officers located Molina riding a black e-bike in the area of [REDACTED]. Officers attempted to stop Molina and he fled. Officers pursued Molina and deployed a taser to stop him. Molina was taken into custody. During the arrest, Molina was combative and made numerous threats toward officers. While attempting to secure Molina in the rear of my vehicle, he kicked me, while I was trying to close the door. Lt. Hutcherson then delivered an open hand strike (pop) to redirect the Molina attention towards him and I then closed the door. No other force or tactics were used.

Molina was transported to the police department. During transport, Molina continued to make threats and kicked the patrol vehicle windows and doors. Molina stated he needed to use the restroom. I told him I would get him to a restroom. Molina urinated in the patrol vehicle despite being told he would be taken to a bathroom upon arrival.

EMS was requested to meet at the police department to evaluate Molina for taser probe removal. Molina refused to cooperate with the medical evaluation. Officers placed leg restraints on Molina due to his continued combative behavior and attempts to kick officers and damage the vehicle.

A screwdriver was located in Molina’s left pant leg during a search. Molina stated it was for his bike.

Molina was transported to jail. While en route, he continued to kick the doors and the cage in the vehicle. Upon arrival at the jail, my weapon was secured in the rear of my vehicle and Molina was turned over to jail staff.

Molina was charged with battery for kicking an officer, battery for punching [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the face, obstruction for fleeing from officers, and cruelty to children in the first degree. A warrant was filed for the charges. A copy of the warrant was left with jail staff. Case number 2026-93333 was assigned.

[NARRATIVE #2 on July 01, 2026]

On July 1st, 2026, at approximately 8:13 PM, I, Officer Lucas Hughes, responded to a domestic dispute at [REDACTED]. When en route I observed a male on a bicycle traveling north on Ridge St, directly towards my patrol vehicle. The male on the bicycle was matching the description of the suspect that was in question. The male went around my vehicle and continued north on Ridge St.

When behind the suspect, later identified as Albert Molina I initiated my emergency equipment and sirens to perform a traffic stop. Molina failed to comply and stop the bicycle. Molina made a left hand turn onto Indian Creek Rd traveling west bound. Molina continued west on Indian Creek Rd; I maneuvered my patrol vehicle beside Molina and advised him to stop the bicycle and get off travel at approxiamately 20mph. Molina continued to disregard my commands and did not stop. In attempt to stop Molina, I reached out my driver’s side window and grabbed Molina by his shirt. Having ahold of Molina’s shirt, Molina lost control of the bicycle, causing him to strike a mailbox located at [REDACTED].

I exited the vehicle and advised Molina to get on the ground. Molina failed to comply to my verbal commands and became combative. Lt. Hutcherson arrived on scene and deployed his taser, and units on scene were able to place Molina into custody.

Officer Hunter confirmed Molina was the subject from the domestic dispute and stated Molina tried to run when the officer turned around on him. I conducted a search of Molina and photographed the taser probe deployment sites. Molina was heavily intoxicated and continued to be combative with officers on scene.

We placed Molina in the back of a patrol vehicle. Molina continued to be verbally combative and made profane statements toward officers. When attempting to place Molina inside the patrol vehicle, Molina kicked Officer Hunter.

I made contact with the resident at [REDACTED]. The resident, [REDACTED] was informed that his mailbox was struck by the suspect during the pursuit. I advised the resident that public works would be contacted to repair the mailbox. I provided the resident with case number 2026-00009333.

I confirmed the victim had been provided a case number and victim advocate information by another officer. The victim stated she planned to contact Haven House and obtain a protective order. The victim expressed concern about Molina returning to the residence. I advised the victim that Molina would face multiple charges including resisting arrest and battery on a law enforcement officer. After Molina was transported to the jail, his e-bike was taken back to his residence at [REDACTED].

[NARRATIVE #3 on July 01, 2026]

On July 1st, 2026, at 2013hrs, I was enroute to [REDACTED] to assist with officers on a domestic. While enroute, I saw a Hispanic male on a bicycle make a left onto Indian Creek Rd. I then observed unit 23 with his lights and sirens activated attempting to stop the male on the electric bicycle. The male continued East on Indian Creek Rd on the bicycle. Officer Hughes drove up beside the male while on the bicycle, and grabbed his shirt on the right side. The male lost control and wrecked. The male jumped up and started yelling at Officer Hughes after he gave the male several directions to get on the ground but he refused.

I then pulled my department issued taser and deployed two prongs into the right side abdomen of the male. They both made a positive connection, incapacitating the male and causing him to fall onto the ground. He was then handcuffed by officers. During the arrest, Molina was combative and made numerous threats toward officers. While attempting to secure Molina in the rear of Officer Hunters vehicle Molina kicked Officer Hunter. From my point of view on the other side of the vehicle I believed that Molina was going to kick Officer Hunter again so I delivered an open hand strike (pop) to redirect the Molina attention towards me so Officer Hunter could then close the door. No other force or tactics were used. The male was identified as Alberto Molina.
