On July 26, 2026, at about 0838 hours, I, Officer J. Ruiz (#2138), was patrolling 125 S Zack Hinton Pkwy in McDonough, Henry County, when I observed a female attempting to avoid me by running into the bathroom.
I made contact with the suspicious person, later identified as Felicia Ward. I informed Ms. Ward of the reason for the contact, which was due to several previous calls regarding a female matching her description who had been loitering and staying in the park for extended hours.
Ms. Ward provided her name and date of birth, which I ran through McDonough Dispatch. Dispatch advised that Ms. Ward had previously been trespassed from this location by Officer Sammons #2140 on 05/15/2026 (2026-00012420).
I asked Ms. Ward if she recalled being trespassed from the property by the officer, to which she did not provide a clear answer. I then advised Ms. Ward that she was under arrest for criminal trespass. She was placed in handcuffs behind her back; the handcuffs were double-locked and checked for proper fit. Ms. Ward was transported to the Henry County Jail without further incident and was issued a citation for criminal trespass.
