On Friday, May 1, 2026 at approximately 1414 hours I, Ofc. A Mirville 2141, responded to the Shell gas station located at 424 Highway 20/81 W., McDonough, Ga., 30253 in reference to a female trespassing. Upon my arrival I made contact with the complainant, Ms. [WITNESS #1] [REDACTED BY AGENCY], and the arrestee, Ms. Jennifer Battle [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
As I walked into the gas station I immediately noticed a familiar woman, Ms. Battle, sitting next to a trash can smoking a cigarette. I continued walking towards the door to make contact with the complainant, but politely greeted Ms. Battle. After entering the gas station I made contact with Ms. [WITNESS #1].
Ms. [WITNESS #1] asked if I noticed the woman sitting outside by the trash can; referring to Ms. Battle. I told her I noticed her. Ms. [WITNESS #1] advised that Ms. Battle has been banned from the store several times. She indicated that each time an officer arrived she would leave prior to receiving a trespass warning, however, Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that Ms. Battle has been trespassed from this location by law enforcement. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that she wants this situation resolved.
I walked back outside, retrieved a note pad, then approached Ms. Battle. I asked Ms. Battle for her first name, last name, and date of birth. She gave me her information with no issue, then I ran it through dispatch. I quickly received returns from dispatch advising that Ms. Battle has been issued a criminal trespass warning for this location.
Upon receiving those returns I placed Ms. Battle in handcuffs behind her back, double-locked, and checked for fit. I advised Ms. Battle that she was under arrest for criminal trespass and escorted her to my patrol vehicle. Once we arrived to my patrol vehicle Ms. Battle indicated that she has a disability regarding her arms and requested her handcuffs to the front. Due to her complaint, calm demeanor, and cooperation, I placed the handcuffs in the front, double-locked, and checked for fit.
Ms. Battle was transported to the Henry County Jail where she was turned over to the booking officers for processing.
A backseat check was logged through dispatch.
This case is cleared by arrest.
