On June 9th, 2026, at 0142 hours, while patrolling I-75 southbound at mile marker 212, I observed a white Nissan Sentra with Georgia tag #[REDACTED].

I entered the tag number into GCIC/NCIC, and it returned that the Nissan had no active insurance and that the registration was suspended. I initiated a traffic stop with my lights and sirens activated. As the vehicle hesitated, pulling over, it finally pulled over just past exit 212 SB. The Nissan was parked alongside a guardrail on the right side. The Nissan pulled up a little further and swiped the guardrail.

While I was in my patrol car, I observed occupants swap seats inside the vehicle. I approached the Nissan and observed one occupant in the driver’s seat and another in the rear-right passenger seat. I asked both occupants why they swapped seats, and they both denied doing so. I asked both occupants for their identification cards. The “now” driver identified himself as Sameer Bell.

The other occupant (original driver) identified himself as Keontre Limehouse. I entered Keontre’s information into GCIC/NCIC, and it returned that his license was suspended for failure to appear, with a violation date of 10-21-2025 and a suspension date of 04-13-2026.

While talking to the occupants, I smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. I asked when the last time marijuana was smoked in the vehicle, and they stated earlier in the day. I called for a backup officer, and once they arrived, I had both occupants exit the vehicle.

I separated both occupants and asked Bell why he swapped seats with Limehouse; he stated, “I don’t know.” Bell stated that he knew that his license was valid.

I searched the vehicle and located a blue Mentos container, which contained loose, green, leafy material, known to be marijuana, inside. I asked Bell and Limehouse who had marijuana inside the Mentos bottle, and Bell stated that it was his.

I placed Bell under arrest and applied handcuffs to the rear, checked for proper fit, and placed him in the rear of patrol unit two. I placed Limehouse under arrest, and I applied handcuffs to the rear, checked for proper fit, and I placed him in the rear of patrol unit two.

I charged Bell with possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct subsection T. I charged Limehouse with driving while his driver’s license was suspended, no insurance, and disorderly conduct subsection T. I gave Limehouse a warning on driving with a suspended registration. Both occupants received a court date of 08-25-2026 at 9 AM.

Limehouse and Bell was charged for disorderly conduct for hindering my investigation. They swapped seats at the time of the traffic stop, and they both lied about doing so.

The Nissan was towed by Corner Lot Towing for no insurance. An inventory of the vehicles was conducted and emailed to Corner Lot.

Bell and Limehouse were transported to the Henry County Jail, where they were released without incident.

The marijuana was placed into evidence at the Locust Grove Police Department in locker number #007. The marijuana weighed three grams. Pictures of the container were uploaded to Axon.
