On 8/22/2026, at 2239pm hours, I, Ofc M Womack 2126, responded as a backup unit for Officer Prescott 2122 at 378 Highway 155 S, located in McDonough (Henry County) GA. Officer Prescott observed the male receive numerous complaints from customers and security at Velvet Bistro and cocktails of a man highly intoxicated loitering and prowling outside of the business. Upon on my arrival, I made contact with the male subject, Mr. Timothy Nixon, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. As I approached him, the smell of alcohol emitted from his person. Mr. Nixon also displayed extremely slurred speech and could not formulate sentences in full.
I instructed Mr. Nixon to stand and place his hands behind his back. I informed Mr. Nixon he was under arrest for public intoxication. Next, he was handcuffed behind his back, double locked, and checked for fit. I escorted Mr. Nixon to the outer rear of my patrol car where I conducted an intrusive search of his person for weapons and other contraband. I placed Mr. Nixon in the rear of my patrol car and put on his seatbelt.
Next, I transported Mr. Nixon to the Henry County jail. It should be noted that Mr. Nixon continued spontaneously uttering sentences aloud in an extremely slurred manner. Mr. Nixon was cited for public intoxication and released to the Henry County jail. A back seat check was logged for unit 41 through dispatch.
This case has been closed by arrest.
