[NARRATIVE #1 on May 15, 2026]
On 05/15/2026 at approximately 0912 hours, I, Officer J. Keith (2143) with the McDonough Police Department, was dispatched to 135 Willow Lane, McDonough, Henry County, Georgia, in reference to a reported shoplifting incident. The location is within the city limits of McDonough.
Upon investigation, the suspect was arrested and transported to the Henry County Jail without incident.
This case is cleared by arrest and is pending warrants.

[NARRATIVE #2 on May 15, 2026]
On Friday, May 15, 2026 at approximately 0929 hours I, Ofc. A Mirville 2141, responded to Walmart; located at 135 Willow Ln., McDonough, Ga., 30253 as a back up unit to Ofc. J Keith 2143 and Ofc. A Sammons 2140.
After arriving on scene the suspect/arrestee, Mr. Tyhshon Sipplen [REDACTED BY AGENCY], was already secure in handcuff in the rear seat of Ofc. Keith’s patrol vehicle. As I approached the scene Ofc. Keith had just been spat on three different times by Mr. Sipplen. I advised Ofc. Keith to go into the Walmart to clean himself while I began assisting with identifying the suspect. After looking for an ID or license amongst Mr. Sipplen’s belongings I discovered a copy of his birth certificate. The birth certificate indicated a male, but the suspect secured in the patrol vehicle was dressed as a female.
Once I located the birth certificate, I went to the driver side rear passenger door and began trying to confirm the suspect’s identity. Mr. Sipplen began spitting at and on me as well as Ofc. Sammons, who was standing next to me, several times. As I continued to confirm the suspect’s identity, his response was, “what do you think? I’m transgender.” I was able to gain the confirmation but Mr. Sipplen continued to spit all over Ofc. Keith’s patrol vehicle. Even, to the point that he would ask to speak with one of us to get us close enough to spit on.
Next, I went back into the location to check on Ofc. Keith. He had cleaned himself up and walked back outside to resume his investigation. Ofc. Keith determined all the charges and transported Mr. Sipplen to the Henry County Jail.

[NARRATIVE #3 on May 15, 2026]
On 05/15/2026 at approximately 0912 hours, I, Officer J. Keith (2143) with the McDonough Police Department, was dispatched to 135 Willow Lane, McDonough, Henry County, Georgia, in reference to a reported shoplifting incident. The location is within the city limits of McDonough.
Upon arrival, contact was made with Walmart employee [WITNESS #1] (L/F, DOB: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]), who stated that a suspect involved in a shoplifting incident had exited the store on foot and was currently in the parking lot. Ms. [WITNESS #1] described the suspect as a Black female wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, and carrying both a Walmart bag and a red Target bag. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated the suspect had been inside the fitting room earlier and stole a pair of pants valued at approximately $54.00 before leaving the store.
I, Officer J. Keith, exited Walmart and located a male matching the description provided by Ms. [WITNESS #1]. Upon contact, the male became combative, yelling and attempting to pull away from me. The suspect was later identified as Tyshon Jerrel Sipplen (DOB: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]). Mr. Sipplen was placed in handcuffs to the rear. The handcuffs were double locked and checked for proper fit.
A search of Mr. Sipplen was conducted, and the stolen pants were recovered from a Walmart bag in his possession. The recovered property, along with additional items Mr. Sipplen was carrying, was secured. Moments later, I began escorting Mr. Sipplen back inside Walmart to the loss prevention office. While escorting him, Mr. Sipplen began pulling away, twisting his body, yelling, cursing, and actively resisting.
Upon arrival at the loss prevention office, Mr. Sipplen was seated in a chair. Moments later, he stood up, spit saliva, and spat on me. I immediately gained control of Mr. Sipplen’s head and face area as he attempted to spit again. Mr. Sipplen was then forcefully escorted from the Walmart loss prevention office to marked McDonough Police Department patrol unit #44, where a search incident to arrest was conducted. During the search, Mr. Sipplen again spat on me and my uniform. Mr. Sipplen was then placed in the rear passenger compartment of patrol unit #44. While attempting to close the partition, Mr. Sipplen again spat saliva toward me through the opening in the partition.
Additional units were requested through Henry County Dispatch. A short time later, Officer A. Mirville (2141) and Officer A. Sammons (2140) arrived on scene to assist. Their assistance allowed me time to clean saliva from my face, neck, uniform, and equipment inside the Walmart restroom. After exiting the restroom, I made contact with Officer Mirville, who informed me that Mr. Sipplen had also spat on both Officer Mirville and Officer Sammons.
I returned to patrol unit #44 and activated the rear camera system. While doing so, Mr. Sipplen stated that he intended to spit on me again and began hawking and gathering saliva in his mouth. Mr. Sipplen then spat saliva through the opening of the vehicle cage while cursing and threatening officers. Mr. Sipplen additionally threatened to continue spitting if he was not provided with hormonal medication. Mr. Sipplen proceeded to kick the doors, windows, and rear camera equipment inside patrol unit #44.
Moments later, Mr. Sipplen was transported to the Henry County Jail. While en route, Mr. Sipplen stated that he wished Officer Keith was dead and further stated that Officer Keith deserved to be eaten as food while incarcerated. Upon arrival at the jail, Mr. Sipplen again threatened to spit on officers and continued spitting saliva, including onto McDonough Police patrol unit #44.
A statement was obtained. This case is cleared by arrest. Warrant is pending.

[NARRATIVE #4 on May 15, 2026]
On 05/15/2026 at approximately 0912 hours, Ofc Keith responded to a shoplifting at Walmart (135 Willow Ln), which is located within the city limits of McDonough (Henry County), Georgia.
Upon arrival contact was made with Tyshon Sipplen. Sipplen had concealed merchandise belonging to Walmart underneath the clothing that was on his body in attempt to exit the store with it.
Once Ofc Keith had the male in handcuffs, he began spitting on him and making attempts to get away.
Once myself (Ofc Sammons), and Ofc Mirville arrived on scene, we attempted to speak with Sipplen and he once again began spitting on officers.
Sipplen continued acting disorderly in the back of Ofc Keith’s patrol car, kicking the rear of his patrol unit until his shoes subsequently fell off, as well as spitting and making a mess in the vehicle.
Once in the Sally port, Sipplen continued spitting on officers and acting out.

Flanigan in the name of Tyshon, Jerrel Sipplen DOB: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Warrant #2026-714WF for the charges of Obstruction of a LEO, Simple assault on a LEO, Disorderly conduct, and Shoplifting. Warrant active. This case is closed
