On 07-01-2026 at approximately 0339 hours I, Deputy Sauls, responded to [100 BLOCK] Ronald Pride Blvd in Fort Valley, in reference to an incident that took place at [100 BLOCK] Marteil Ct. Upon arrival I made contact with the victim, [VICTIM #1], his mother, [WITNESS #1], the offender Alani Mosley, and Alani’s friend, [WITNESS #2].

[VICTIM #1] stated he and Alani were dating for approximately 2 weeks. He stated they recently broke up and he wanted her back. He stated he was put in a group text that included Alani. He stated she was talking about him, saying he was gay, racist and other things. He stated he engaged and was saying things back to her. He stated she then said she was going to pull up at his house.

He stated Alani and [WITNESS #2] showed up in Alani’s vehicle at approximately 0130 hours. He stated Alani knocked on his window, but he didn’t come out until his friends showed up. He stated when he walked outside, Alani already had a hammer in her hand, but he didn’t see it at first. He stated they got into a verbal altercation that turned physical. He stated Alani hit him in the back of the head with the hammer.

He stated he ran away from her, but they began arguing again. He stated during this, she did not have the hammer and struck his face with her palm. He stated Alani then got in her car and left. He stated Alani stated he needed to stand by for part 2. [VICTIM #1] stated a couple days prior Alani’s friends threatened to kill [WITNESS #1], his mother. He stated they also were threatening him now.

[WITNESS #1] stated when she found out, she drove [VICTIM #1] to [100 BLOCK] Ronald Pride Blvd to see if Alani was here. She stated her intention was just to tell Alani she was not welcome at her house anymore. She stated [VICTIM #1] did not want her to approach them, so they contact Fort Valley PD to respond to mediate. FVPD then contact us in reference to the incident happening in our jurisdiction.

[VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1] stated they did not want charges pressed at this time, but wanted Alani to stay away from their house.

Alani confirmed she and [VICTIM #1] have been dating for approximately 2 weeks. She stated she broke up with [VICTIM #1] within the last couple days. Alani stated the incident started because she was included in a group text. She stated at some point [VICTIM #1] was added to the group. She stated everyone was talking back and forth and she told him to pull up, but when he didn’t she went to his residence. She stated the intention was not to fight, but to talk. She stated when she was told his friends were going to be there, she went to the trunk and grabbed a hammer.

She stated she was unsure if his friends were going to do anything. She stated when she was talking to [VICTIM #1], she pushed him first and then they started pushing back and forth. She stated at some point she struck [VICTIM #1] on the back of the head with the hammer. She stated [WITNESS #2] grabbed the hammer from her and shortly after that they left. She stated there was no mention of a part 2 and she was not aware of any threats made toward [WITNESS #1].

[WITNESS #2] advised the similar to Alani. She stated she was trying to break them apart, but was unable to do so. She stated after Alani struck [VICTIM #1], she was able to get the hammer from Alani. She stated they left shortly after. [WITNESS #2] stated she did not hear or say anything about a part 2, nor was she aware of any threats made to [WITNESS #1].

Sgt. Archie photographed the laceration, which was between 1-2″ on the back of [VICTIM #1]’s head. He also collected and secured the hammer from Alani’s car after obtaining permission from Alani. Sgt. Archie also notified the on call detective.

[WITNESS #1] provided me with a video of the incident. It was not a complete video as it awas a ring camera from the neighbor’s driveway. The complete incident was not caught on camera, but some of it was. I secured these videos and attached them to the case.

After speaking with all parties on scene involved with the incident, Alani was placed in custody with no issues. The handcuffs were placed behind her back, checked for proper fit and double locked. I searched Alani incident to arrest and located no contraband.

I was unable to make contact with [VICTIM #1]’s friends at this time. [VICTIM #1] stated he would be going for medical attention on his own.

I transported Alani to the Houston County Detention Center for booking procedures. I will be seeking a warrant for Alani.
