On 04/22/2022 at 1722 hrs. I, Ofc. Hall, was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Orchard Pass in reference to Terroristic Threats.

Upon arrival, I spoke to [VICTIM #1]. He stated that when his brother, Brenton Griggs, drinks, he becomes violent and threatens to hurt him. I asked Mr [VICTIM #1] if he had any recordings of this incident and he was able to provide the recording.

In the recording, I was able to hear Mr. Griggs state “I’m gonna beat his a*s”. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that he did not make any such threats to his brother and that he would like to press charges in reference to this incident.

I spoke with Mr. Griggs. When I entered the home to speak with him, Mr Griggs was stumbling in the hallway and was asking why we were there. Ofc. Salter and I asked Mr Griggs to step outside and speak to use due to the dogs in the home.

I asked Mr. Griggs if he had been drinking, and he stated only for the past 30 minutes. I asked Mr. Griggs simple questions such as his birthday and telephone number and while answering these questions he frequently stumbled over his words and slurred his speech.

I stayed with Mr. Griggs while Ofc. Salter spoke with Mr. Griggs’ father, [WITNESS #1]. Ofc. Salter came out after a brief conversation and advised that Mr. [WITNESS #1] only heard threats come from Mr. Griggs to Mr. [VICTIM #1]. We then placed Mr. Griggs into custody and began to transport him to my patrol car. While we walked Mr. Griggs to the vehicle, he began to scream and use profanity.

Ofc. Salter and I both warned Mr. Griggs that if he continued this that he would be charged with a subsequent charge of Disorderly Conduct. He continued to yell, scream and use profane language. I looked around my vehicle and saw several young children and neighbors exit there home due to his behavior

I then gave Mr. [VICTIM #1] a copy of the case number and advised him on how to obtain a copy of this report. I transported Mr. Griggs to Warner Robins Police Department for processing. I completed a victim notification form and added it to his processing paper work. I will be seeking warrants for Terroristic Threats and Disorderly Conduct at the next available date.
