On March 22nd, 2026, at approximately 0306 hours, I, Deputy G.M. Davis (#9564), was dispatched to [80 BLOCK] Red Fox Run in reference to an aggravated assault. I was wearing my issued Class A uniform with my badge clearly displayed, and I was operating the Houston County Sheriff’s Office marked unit #815.
When I arrived on scene, I made contact with the suspect, Christopher Mancio, who was manifestly under the influence of alcohol, and a witness, [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] reported that Christopher had walked into his residence, located at [80 BLOCK] Red Fox Run, claiming that his uncle lived there. While inside the residence, Christopher was bitten on the hand/elbow by [WITNESS #1]’s dog. Christopher then pulled a pocketknife out and waved it at the dog. [WITNESS #1] stated something to the effect that he did not want to press charges because it was an honest mistake.
Christopher reported that he met some people who were later identified as [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] (victims) at El Barrio Food Market on Red Fox Run. [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] allegedly told Christopher that his uncle lived at [80 BLOCK] Red Fox Run. All parties involved have no prior knowledge of each other. While I was obtaining this information, Deputy T. Johnson (#9562) was speaking with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2], located at [80 BLOCK] Red Fox Run. It was reported to Deputy T. Johnson that [VICTIM #1] was stabbed by Christopher.
Christopher was then detained with handcuffs which were affixed behind his back, checked for proper fit, and double locked. Christopher was read his Miranda Rights, stated he understood them, and agreed to speak to Deputies on scene.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) was called to the scene to assess [VICTIM #1] for his stab wound and Christopher for his dog bites. [VICTIM #1]’s wound was bandaged by EMS, Christopher’s wounds were assessed, and he denied any further treatment.
Christopher continued to report (post Miranda) that after he left [WITNESS #1]’s residence, he then went over to [80 BLOCK] Red Fox Run, trying to get a ride back to Macon. Christopher began to record [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] because they were drinking and in/around a vehicle. Christopher also called 911 to report this.
Christopher alleges that [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] got aggressive with him and “manhandled him” then smashed his phone with a dumbbell. Christopher then pulled a pocketknife in what he described to me as self-defense the stabbed [VICTIM #1]. The parties separated after this altercation.
I made contact with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2]; due to a language barrier Involved other, [REDACTED] translated for me. [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] reported that Christopher came to [VICTIM #1]’s residence located at [80 BLOCK] Red Fox Red and was unwelcome. [VICTIM #1] asked Christopher to leave, and he did not. Christopher then pulled a pocketknife out and stabbed [VICTIM #1]. After stabbing [VICTIM #1], Christopher then came at [VICTIM #2] with the knife. [VICTIM #2] moved away and ran around the house to get away from Christopher.
I observed a wound on the left abdominal area of [VICTIM #1], which is known to me to be consistent with an edged weapon from my training and experience.
This altercation was collaborated by [WITNESS #1], who reported to Deputy T. Johnson that he observed Christopher pursuing [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] with the pocketknife. Deputies were unable to locate the pocketknife in question.
Christopher was informed he was under arrest for aggravated assault, placed in Deputy T. Knighten’s (#5533) marked Houston County Sheriff’s unit #974, and transported to Houston County Detention Center.
Warrant applications were sought against Christopher Mancio utilizing Houston County Magistrate Court for the following violation of the Official Code of Georgia – 16-5-21 – Aggravated Assault. Warrants will be signed at the next available date.
