On Thursday, 19 June 2025, I responded to [300 BLOCK] North Lake Dr for a physical domestic, which resulted in an arrest for Simple Battery FVA.

Upon arrival, I spoke with the victim, [VICTIM #1], who stated his parents traveled from Maryland to take him back to finish school. [VICTIM #1] stated he did not want to go back, but his father, Eric Anderson, insisted. [VICTIM #1] stated when he resisted, Eric became physical and attempted to force him into the vehicle, at which time [VICTIM #1]’s mother, [REDACTED], got between them to separate them.

[VICTIM #1] stated when he resisted being placed in the vehicle, Eric began punching him in the chest and placed him in a choke hold. There were no visible marks on [VICTIM #1]’s chest or neck. [VICTIM #1] stated he thinks he blacked out and the next thing he remembered was being in the vehicle. [VICTIM #1] then exited the vehicle and called 911.

I then spoke with Eric, who stated he and [REDACTED] drove from Maryland to take [VICTIM #1] back home to finish high school. Eric stated [VICTIM #1] initially got into the vehicle to leave with them, but changed his mind and got out of the vehicle. Eric stated he then attempted to physically get [VICTIM #1] back into the vehicle. I asked Eric if he struck [VICTIM #1] during this incident and he stated yes, he struck him in the chest. I asked Eric if he choked [VICTIM #1] and he stated no, he only struck him in the chest.

I asked Eric to exit the vehicle and placed him under arrest for Simple Battery FVA. I placed Eric in handcuffs, cuffed to the rear, check for fit and double locked. Eric was searched and placed in the rear of the patrol vehicle for transport to the Houston County Detention Center.

Warrants to be taken.
