On 02/25/2026 at 1832 hours both Ofc. Jump and I, Ofc. Greene, were both dispatched to [300 BLOCK] Greenbriar Rd. in reference to a fire at this address.

Upon arriving to the residence, was made with [VICTIM #1]. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised that his brother, Isaac Brown, was living within the outside house structure in the backyard of the residence when he noticed flames coming from within the structure. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that when he went to extinguish the flames with a bucket of water, Mr. I. Brown attempted to assault him by swinging an unknown object towards him. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. I. Brown did not make physical contact but he did push I. Brown with his shoulder in order to move him out of the way to extinguish the fire.

When contact was then made with Mr. I. Brown regarding the cause of the fire incident, Mr. I. Brown was standing in the residence in the nude. Mr. I. Brown stated that he had been residing in the outside house structure while his brother poured snakes and spiders into his living space. Mr. I. Brown advised that due to the mentioned vermin entering his living space and getting into his clothing, he had to set fire to the clothing he had on to rid himself of the pests. Mr. I. Brown has a history of drug usage, typically methamphetamine, which has caused him to experience similar hallucinations of snakes and spiders.

There was visible damage to the floor of the building from the burning clothes. Photos were taken of the damage and will be attached to this report in RMS.

Mr. I. Brown was placed into custody and transported to Headquarters under the charges of Simple Assault Family Violence and Arson in the 1St Degree. We will be seeking warrants for these charges.
