On 03-17-2026 at 0026 hours, I, Ofc. Ullius, was dispatched to 202 Carl Vinson Pkwy, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, in reference to an assault or battery that occured at [2000 BLOCK] Karl Dr., Apt. [REDACTED].
Once on scene, I made contact with Lance Cunningham-Reid. He advised this date, he and his wife, [VICTIM #1], had not spoken all day. He advised they are currently staying in two separate rooms, with him staying in the master bedroom. Mr. Cunningham-Reid advised he was in his room, taking care of laundry, with the door open, when Mrs. [VICTIM #1] entered the bedroom. He advised she began to start arguing with him while she was in the entry-way. He advised he did not want to argue where he then went toward her to close the door.
Mr. Cunningham-Reid advised he tried closing the door, however, a trashcan was in the doorway as well as Mrs. [VICTIM #1], preventing the door from closing. He advised he then pushed her in order to close the door.
As Mr. Cunningham-Reid had pushed her, he advised she then proceeded to start “wailing” on him. He advised while she was striking him, he then took her to the ground. After he took her to ground, he advised he then placed her into a choke hold. During this he advised he felt her biting him. He advised Mrs. [VICTIM #1] then went into the room where she is staying, where he discovered he had an injury to his jaw. He advised he then went into her room, made a comment about her mother and how she raised her, where he then slapped her for the injury he sustained. He then advised he left the residence, where he went to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
While speaking with Mr. Cunningham-Reid, I observed an injury to the right side of his face, located near his jaw. His jaw had a welt, and can be seen significantly larger than the left side of his face. He also had multiple scratch marks located on his right arm. I did not see any bite marks on Mr. Cunningham-Reid. While speaking with him, EMS responded and assessed him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Pictures were taken of his injuries and were uploaded to RMS.
After making contact with Mr. Cunningham-Reid, I then made contact with Mrs. [VICTIM #1] at their residence. She advised both parties had not spoken to each other all day. She advised she went to get the mail, where she went into the room where Mr. Cunningham-Reid is staying in. She advised she gave him his mail, where she then asked him questions about their pending divorce.
She advised he then grew upset, where he pushed her. She advised she then pushed him back, where he then placed her into a choke hold. She advised while he was holding onto her, he took them to the floor. During this, she advised she felt like she could not breathe, where she then began to scratch him. She was then able to move away from him, where she then went into her bedroom.
Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised while she was in her bedroom, Mr. Cunningham-Reid then entered the room. She advised he then proceeded to talk about her mother, where he then slapped her. She advised she then struck him back, hitting him on his jaw. She advised he then left the room, where he then shortly left the apartment.
There was a video camera set up in the dining room area of their apartment. Based on the angle of the camera it shows the front door as well as the doorway to Mrs. [VICTIM #1]’s bedroom. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] was able to show me camera footage showing part of this incident. She can be seen walking out of frame, toward the direction of the master bedroom.
In the video you can hear arguing where she then walks into her bedroom. Mr. Cunningham-Reid can then be seen walking with a upright confrontational posture and enter her bedroom. He is then seen walking out of the room and steps out of frame. He then reenters the frame and enters her bedroom once again. While inside you can hear arguing and then a sound similar to a slap. During this you can’t see anyone in the frame.
In the footage Mr. Cunningham-Reid can then be seen stepping back as Mrs. [VICTIM #1] then strikes him near his head. Mr. Cunningham-Reid can then be seen grabbing her near her legs, and taking her to the ground. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] then stands back up where he picks her up and throws her onto the ground. He can be seen standing above her as Mrs. [VICTIM #1] continues to fight back. Both parties then get up off of the floor, where they then step out of frame. Mr. Cunningham-Reid can then be seen walking out of the bedroom as she follows. They both then step out of frame. I recorded a copy of this video, which was uploaded to RMS.
I observed Mrs. [VICTIM #1] for any visible injuries. On the inside of her upper lip her lip was busted, with visible redness. She also had two scratch marks that were located on her chest, that were dark and appeared to be scabbed over. I observed her neck and eyes for any redness, which I did not locate any. Pictures were taken of her injuries and were uploaded to RMS.
Based on the testimonies provided by both parties, as well as video footage, I found Mr. Cunningham-Reid to be the predominant aggressor. I will be signing warrants next available date for Aggravated Assault-Family Violence on Mr. Cunningham-Reid.
Both parties were issued a case number and informed on how to obtain a copy of this report.
