On Saturday, May 2, 2026, at approximately 1933 hours, I, Deputy Travis Knighten (Badge #5533), was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Piney Grove Road in reference to aggravated assault. I arrived wearing my issued Class-A uniform with badge displayed and operating a marked Houston County Sheriffs Office Patrol unit #974.

I made contact with the victim, [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated he had been riding in a vehicle with his girlfriend, identified as the offender, Misa Love, while they were en route to visit a family member (information unknown). [VICTIM #1] reported during the drive, Misa became upset about him planning to attend a party later in the evening. [VICTIM #1] stated he told Misa to go ahead and drop him off at his residence.

[VICTIM #1] stated that upon arriving at his residence, he exited the vehicle. [VICTIM #1] reported Misa then struck him with the front of her white Hyundai Sonata (GA #[REDACTED]). [VICTIM #1] stated the impact caused him to fall into a parked gray vehicle (further information unknown) located adjacent to where he got out. [VICTIM #1] stated he crawled behind the parked vehicle for protection as Misa placed her vehicle in reverse. [VICTIM #1] reported Misa then reversed the vehicle in an attempt to strike him a second time. [VICTIM #1] stated after the failed attempt, Misa exited the property and traveled onto Piney Grove Road.

Houston County Fire and EMS personnel examined [VICTIM #1] on scene. [VICTIM #1] complained of pain to his right biceps area but refused EMS transport. Photographs were taken of the reported injury; no visible marks were observed.

I spoke with a witness, [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated she was inside her bedroom when she heard an engine revving in the front yard. She stated she looked out the window and observed Misa operating the Hyundai in reverse. [WITNESS #1] stated she did not witness Misa strike [VICTIM #1] with the vehicle.

Deputy Brock Snyder later advised he located a vehicle matching the description of the offender’s vehicle, given by Houston County Dispatch, traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 247 south of the 247 Spur and initiated a traffic stop. Deputy Snyder said he advised Misa of her Miranda Warning before questioning her.

Deputy Snyder said he asked Misa if she meant to stike [VICTIM #1] with her vehicle. On Deputy Snyder’s body camera, Misa admitted to intentionally striking [VICTIM #1] with her vehicle. After gaining a positive confession under the Miranda Warning, Deputy Snyder placed Misa in custody and transported her to the Houston County Sheriffs Office Detention Center and turned over to the Detention Center staff.

Sgt. C. Ross of Houston County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division was notified of the incident.

[VICTIM #1] was provided a case card with instructions on how to obtain a copy of this report.

I will be seeking a warrant against Misa Love for Aggravated Assault utilizing the Houston County Magistrate Court.
