On 04/14/2026 at approximately 20:42 hrs, I Ofc. Cooley responded to [600 BLOCK] Langley St. reference a domestic already occurred.
Upon arrival I made contact with a Mrs. [VICTIM #1]. She advised she and her husband a Mr. Knipschild had a verbal argument. She then advised the argument was over wanting him wanting her Drivers License. When she refused to give it to him, he became enraged.
Both she and her son [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Mr. Knipschild began to strike Mrs. [VICTIM #1]. She advised she cover her face by placing her forearms in front of her and curling up on the couch. Mr. Knipschild began striking her with closed fist along the back and arms also grabbing her by the back of the neck. I examined Mrs. [VICTIM #1] who did have faint marks along the back and rear of the neck. I was not able to see bruising along the arms. I photographed the injury to attach to the report.
I was then advised that Mr. Knipschild broke the door when leaving as they had deadbolts placed high on the door to keep [REDACTED BY AGENCY] from getting out. I also noted damage to the frame ofthe door coming off the wall and the area where the bolt had been ripped from the frame. This was also photographed to be attached.
I did take note while speaking with Mrs. [VICTIM #1] asking what happened, her son [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said,”a fight dad hit mommy.”
I was unable to make contact with Mr. Knipschild by phone and he was not on scene when I arrived.
Based on the evidence at hand I will be seeking warrants against Mr. Knipschild next available date.
