On 10/05/2026 at 1202 hours, I, Ofc. Brown was dispatched to 10136 N Highway 247(Circle K) in reference to a theft by taking.

Once on scene I made contact with [WITNESS #1], who is a store manager of Circle K. I also made contact with [WITNESS #2], who is also a store manager for Circle K. Both Ms. [WITNESS #1] and Ms. [WITNESS #2] advised they had an employee today that was very irate over losing a cellphone. They identified the employee as Tamyah Stephens. Ms. [WITNESS #2] advised that Ms. Stephens became very irate when she thought someone took her phone. Ms. [WITNESS #2] asked me to try and find her due to she leaving the store and to trespass her from the store. Ms. [WITNESS #1] advised she wanted Ms. Stephens arrested due to how irate and disorderly she was in the store. Both of them advised Ms. Stephens was going to be fired.

I then went to make contact with Ms. Stephens about her cellphone and her behavior in the store. I made contact with Ms. Stephens at [400 BLOCK] Plantation Rd. I asked her what happened at the store and she kept advising that someone took her cellphone, the more I spoke to her to more she got upset about her cellphone. I asked Ms. Stephens to come back to the store so that we could figure out what happened. She walked back to the store.

Moments later Ms. Stephens arrived back to the store. As I was still gathering information about her possible stolen cellphone, she sat on the curb in front of the store. Ms. Stephens still had her Circle K shirt with her. Due to Ms. [WITNESS #1] and Ms. [WITNESS #2] saying they were going to fire her, and wanting her criminally trespassed from the property. I asked Ms. Stephens for her Circle K shirt, Ms. Stephens asked, “Am I getting fired?” I advised Ms. Stephens that the managers advised she was getting fired and that she was going to be criminally trespassed from the store. Ms. Stephens became very upset, and started screaming in the parking lot of the store.

Multiple vehicles were in the parking lot of the store. As she kept screaming she kicked a trash can that was located on the side of the business. Ms. Stephens kept screaming, went into the store and kicked a monitor that was on the counter of the business. Once I came into the store I advised Ms. Stephens that she was about to go to jail and she advised, “I don’t give a f*ck” I have nothing else to lose”.

At this time Ms. Stephens was behind the counter grabbing items, and pushing items off of the counter of the business. She pushed a monitor and key pad of the counter. To gain control of Ms. Stephens, I grabbed her by both of her arms and assisted her to the ground, while on the ground she was handcuffed. Ms. Stephens had no injuries to my knowledge and I also had no injuries.

During this time as Ms. Stephens was coming into the store and screaming, another employee, [WITNESS #3] was behind the counter. She left from behind the counter because of how Ms. Stephens was acting. Ms. [WITNESS #3] was inside the store the whole time during the incident.

Ms. [WITNESS #2] advised nothing that Ms. Stephens kicked up pushed off the counter was damaged.

Ms. Stephens was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and transported to headquarters.

Ms. Stephens cellphone was found at the store by cigarettes.

Videos from this incident will be uploaded into RMS.

I will be seeking a state warrant on Tamyah Stephens for disorderly conduct.
