On January 19, 2025, Lt. McNatt was informed by Sgt. Thomas Duncan (111-APD) about a domestic dispute that had occurred at [500 BLOCK] Rock Forge Rd. on January 18, 2025, prior to his shift. Sgt. Thomas advised that the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office had responded to the Arcade Police Department, where the Deputy met with the victim and her daughter about the incident that had occurred at her marital address. According to Sgt. Duncan, Deputy Grizzel (4158 -JCSO) advised that the victim had visible injury to her forehead, neck, arms and right hand. No contact was made with the Predominate Aggressor. Deputy Grizzel took photographs of the injuries and advised that the report would be forwarded to the Arcade Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division for follow up.

Around 1335 hrs., on January 18, 2025, Sgt. Duncan responded to [100 BLOCK] Rock Forge Ln. in reference to the Predominate Aggressor being on scene and demanding to see the victim, who was staying at this location with their adult daughter. (Reference APD case number – 2025-01-0231) The Predominate Aggressor was not on scene when Sgt. Duncan arrived. Sgt. Duncan was able to interview the victim and her daughter about the incidents that had occurred earlier at her marital residence. The victim advised that the Predominate Aggressor was having mental health crisis and believed that the victim was engaged in a sexual affair with a ghost. The victim stated hat the Predominate Aggressor head butted her, struck her with his fists and strangled her, by grabbing her around the neck, to block her airway. The victim advised that she did not lose consciousness as he was choking her. The victim was able to leave the marital residence around 1100 hrs. on 01/18/25, and walked to [100 BLOCK] Rock Forge Ln. to seek refuge from the abuse and help.

Sgt. Duncan took photographs of the victim’s injuries that he observed while speaking with her.

This report will be forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Division for follow up and arrest warrants.
