I made contact with the complainant, [WITNESS #1]. He advised that when he got off of work, his wife, [REDACTED], stated she wanted to speak with him privately. He advised this is when she told him that [VICTIM #1] (daughter of [REDACTED] and Darrell Stone) had confided in her that her dad, Darrell Stone, had been touching her in her private area. He stated that [REDACTED] told him that [VICTIM #1] became extremely emotional. [WITNESS #1] stated that he then spoke with [VICTIM #1] and she stated the same thing. He advised that they did not ask her a lot of questions due to how emotional and upset she was. When asked, [VICTIM #1] stated that this has been happening for a while.

Mr. [WITNESS #1] advised they then spoke to [VICTIM #1]’s older sister, [REDACTED]., to make sure she was not or had not been touched in any way. He advised that she stated she had not. He advised that she did mention something she thought to be strange is how Darrell would always get a blanket and place it over his lap and [VICTIM #1]’s lap. They then asked [VICTIM #1] and she told them that he does put the blanket over him and her and he touches her private area. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated when asked, [VICTIM #1] advised that she did not tell anyone because she was scared she would get in trouble.

I advised Mr. [WITNESS #1] that a copy of this report would go to our Investigators. When asked about visitation between the two girls and Darrell, he advised that they would not go back until September 4th.

Darrell Stone is listed as a sex offender in Jones County.
