On 09/06/2023, I deputy J. Robinson was dispatched to [3800 BLOCK] Upper River Rd in reference to a nude black male standing next to the residence.
Prior I my arrival, I made contact with Investigator, Kenny Gleaton who notified the Sheriff’s Office about the issue. He stated he was contacted by [WITNESS #1] who stated she saw a black male standing in the yard of the residence, [3800 BLOCK] Upper River Rd. She sent a photo of the nude blackmale to Gleaton, who in turn sent it to me. He advised she was worried due to a prior sex offender living at the residence years ago.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the black male, Ephraim Green, He stated it was him standing in the yard nude. He stated he lives at the residence and he was sun bathing due to a prior medical condition, involving testicular cancer. He stated he was standing beside his house thinking he was concealed from view due to the wood line that fronts his property. He stated he stands on the that side of the house because it has no windows and he lives with his parents. He advised a red car stopped in the roadway and took a photograph of him. He advised he would move his sun bathing to the rear of his house so another incident will not occur.
I advised Mr. Green even though he was on his property it was possible he could be seen from the roadway, therefore he needed to stay out of the view of the roadway. He advised he would do so.
I returned back in service.
I later received a phone call from Sgt. Humphries and Capt. Travis Douglas, stating Chief. Humphries wanted me to secure a warrant for Mr. Green for public indecency. I secured the warrant for Mr. Green, Sgt. Humphries and I went to Mr. Green’s address, but had negative with Mr. Green. I made contact with his mother who stated he was at work and she would make sure he turned himself in to the Jones County LEC on 09/07/2023. Command staff was notified he would be turning his self in.
