On 053026 at approximately 0841 hrs. I was dispatched in reference a stolen vehicle from Anchor Auto Sales located at 2963 Joycliff Rd. Macon, Ga. The complainant, [VICTIM #1], advised 911 call takers that the vehicle just left and was traveling west on Joycliff Rd. towards Gray Hwy.
On arrival, I spoke with [VICTIM #1] who said that he had come into work at around 0830 hrs. and that he noticed an unknown black male, wearing blue sweats, a white t shirt with unknown writing on it, and approximately 20-25 years old, in the rear of the lot. [VICTIM #1] stated that he asked the unknown male what he was doing there and that he was calling 911. [VICTIM #1] continued by saying that the unknown male got into a vehicle, described as a black 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing Ga. License plate [REDACTED] (possibly mounted with plate backwards), started the vehicle, and attempted to flee the dealership.
As the vehicle was leaving the dealership the unknown person collided with [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle, a 1998 Buick Park Avenue bearing Ga. License Plate [REDACTED], as [VICTIM #1] attempted to block the unknown person in between his vehicle and the dealership building. The Jeep collided with [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle causing damage to the rear drivers side fender as well as a cart containing miscellaneous items including gray paint prior to leaving the property and entering Joycliff Rd.
The vehicle description (including likely damage), the unknown persons description, and likely destination of the vehicle was relayed to dispatch for dissemination.
[VICTIM #1] stated that the vehicle was a repossession for Robins Credit Union and had been acquired from [500 BLOCK] Fiery Warbler St. McDonough, Ga. and was likely headed back to that address due to the repossession being “no key” and that the vehicle had been started with the vehicle key. Dispatch advised that the vehicle was seen by an off duty Butts County Deputy and that they were unable to catch up to the vehicle as it was driving on Hwy 42 (Northbound).
Dispatch entered the vehicle into GCIC/NCIC and advised all agencies between Jones County and Henry County including Georgia State Patrol. The vehicle was registered to a Graeson Bailey Ga. OLN: [REDACTED] and that Bailey was likely the unknown person who took the vehicle and was returning to the McDonough, Ga. address.
Photographs were taken of the incident location including damage to [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle and several security cameras were located. It was at this time the owner of the dealership, [VICTIM #2], arrived. I provided [VICTIM #2] with this case number as well as advised [VICTIM #2] that when she was able to get the security footage to forward to my Jones County email address to be added to this report.

At the time of the completion of this report, no further contact with the vehicle was noted.
